On December 16, Nandu reporters learned from the Shenzhen Coast Guard Bureau in Guangdong Province that since August, the Shenzhen Coast Guard Bureau has organized special forces, together with the Shenzhen Municipal Anti-Smuggling Office, the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau and other relevant departments, to carry out centralized and pollution-free destruction of smuggled frozen goods seized and sealed over the years. The destruction operation lasted for three months, destroying more than 5,000 tons of various types of smuggled frozen goods, worth more than 200 million yuan.

It is reported that the batch of frozen products is all kinds of frozen products seized in the smuggling cases handled by the Shenzhen Coast Guard Bureau in the past two years, including dozens of kinds of beef blinds, frozen pork belly, pig ears, beef, beef tendons, chicken feet, chicken wings and so on. At present, the batch of frozen products have been inspected and quarantined in accordance with the regulations and published and publicized, and after approval by legal procedures, they have been centrally and publicly destroyed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Guiding Opinions on the Disposal of Smuggled Frozen Products in Guangdong Province". The entire destruction process is carried out under the supervision of Coast Guard law enforcement personnel, and the bottom is recorded through law enforcement recorders until the destruction is completed, ensuring that the smuggled frozen goods will not flow into the market again.
The Shenzhen Coast Guard Bureau said that smuggled frozen products are not included in official supervision, the source channels are unclear, the food quality and safety status is unknown, and there are great risks and hidden dangers after flowing into the market. The launch of this operation has cut off the transmission link of the epidemic at sea and ensured the safety of the "tip of the tongue" of the citizens.
