Touching the night talk, every day nonsense and game-related farts, ghost things, new things.

"Writing at work, 'DOTA' after work", this is almost the state of my life these two days. I was recently replaying "DOTA 2", at first to write an article, want to go back to the community to see, after a while to realize that I have almost forgotten the feeling of playing the game, so I rearranged a few rounds, the operation is indeed a lot of strange, but complex emotions still gushed up at once.
"DOTA" is fun, there is no doubt about it, its influence is great, the number of games on display, I don't need to say more, everyone knows. I've spent hundreds of hours in the game —not a lot compared to the core players who spend thousands of hours, of course, but I spent most of my middle school playing time in it, and a few of my best friends were also "real-life classmates, 'knife friends' in the game."
I often see questions on the Internet that read, "In order to play games, what do you have experienced with your parents?" Every time I think if I talk about it, I will be able to talk about it endlessly. During the summer vacation of playing "DOTA", during the day my parents went to work, I secretly turned on the computer and connected with my friends, and when I heard movement outside the door, I kicked off the power, and over time, I learned how to distinguish between family and neighbors through footsteps. In addition, I remembered the sound of several cars parked downstairs pulling handbrakes, and the cars in the next few households had a dull sound, and my home was just the opposite, a harsh tearing sound. As soon as the familiar sound of mechanical braking came from outside the window, I hurriedly turned off the computer and ran back to the study like a smoke.
"DOTA" does have this charm, not only me, but also the players who like it can't help but want to play. However, I left later, and I didn't log in to the game for a long time, of course, there were reasons for academic pressure, but then I was busy, and I didn't go back, and in the end I still didn't like it so much. I think an important reason is that the game environment is not good, as almost all players recognize, "DOTA" games are quite good quality, but the overall environment is really bad.
Specific how bad can be broken down into two points. First, there are many 'trumpet brothers', and skilled players run to the fish pond and punch at players who are slightly less level, making them have a very poor experience. The game mechanism of "DOTA" tends to "snowball", the strong side accumulates advantages, the more courageous the battle; the weaker if they can not find the breaking point, many times the line and field are occupied, completely suppressed on the high ground, go out to be tortured, not to mention overturned, there is no game experience at all.
Another point is that the player is more "grumpy", or there is always a trend of blaming teammates in the game. I think that if you give a portrait of the user groups of different games, the "Dongsen" player will be a friendly and cute friend, and the player who plays the fighting game may be a fierce opponent who competes with each other in martial arts, and the "DOTA" player... In fact, there are also exciting operations in the game such as "one person is caught, and the teammate immediately shoots 4 TP (back to the city scroll)" and "the teammate is destroyed by the group, and the shadow demon limit changes the home", but I don't know why, I always have a noisy brother image in front of me.
"Why is DOTA 2 the 'most toxic' game?" The game environment at home and abroad is almost the same
In fact, it is not aimed at "DOTA", almost all MOBA games, even as long as it is a confrontational multiplayer co-op game, has an atmosphere of blaming teammates. I think the environment is so harsh that it's suffocating. The phrase "the dish is the original sin" is widespread in the gaming community, as if you should be taught a lesson without playing a good game, and then be guided by more mature players – shouldn't playing games for fun? Maybe this is also a bit narrow, different players have different pursuits, I think there are many players who are in line with the purpose of surpassing themselves and improving their competitive level. Everyone has their own set of views on values, in the minds of some people, the game may be a particularly serious thing, after all, the ladder is placed there, and the victory and defeat of each round are finally reduced into points that increase or decrease, and the game is played with a casual entertainment attitude, but it is frivolous. There's nothing wrong with that.
But I am still not used to such an atmosphere, even if the technology is improved, there are always unskilled heroes; even if the heroes are well trained, there will inevitably be mistakes. The atmosphere of mutual accusations is like a quagmire, you throw muddy water on others, then others will definitely throw mud blocks on your head, and everyone will be covered in mud.
For that reason, I've been backing out of the pit for a while, and recently I've had the same problem – the game itself is of excellent quality, but players are always struggling with unhealthy environments. If the negativity is greater than the joy of the game, the player can't stand it and will walk away. It's also a matter of course that the "DOTA" community always complains that there is no new blood, and the criticism of the game environment is always there.
Such articles are also a big search
In the past, I would also quietly run away, there are so many games, like shells on the beach, the waves engulf one, and it is a big deal to grab another place, there is no need to be hard. But I occasionally wonder, the person who obviously messed up the environment is not right, why should the person who gave up a good game be me? Right, there are already many such things in life, the world is so good, and it is always occupied by a group of not-so-good people, which is enough to be depressed. We all say that the game is an extension of reality, but whenever this place reveals the same cold facts as life, we still feel disappointed and unwilling.
But disappointment is one thing, giving up is another. Wouldn't giving up mean nothing? I don't want to give good things to people I don't like again. Stick to it, more people have such ideas, and the environment may change.
