In 1847, Tsarist Russia began to send troops and immigrants to invade the Outer Northeast, occupying a large area of territory, and began to build castles, towns, and settlements. At that time, the Tsar sent 10,000 elite troops to the border between China and Russia, and the transbaikal province in the northeast of the town. At that time, the Heilongjiang general Yishan was completely unaware, and in his report to the central government, he also said that "there is nothing wrong at the border."
However, by 1858, when tens of thousands of Tsarist Russian troops were stationed in Heilongjiang, the garrison of Yaohun City, the panicked defender General Yishan learned that there were a large number of Tsarist Troops and immigrants in the outer northeast. At this time, there were only more than 1,000 old and weak remnants in the city, and it was undoubtedly a pebble to fight with tens of thousands of well-equipped Russian troops, so Yishan was forced to make an alliance under the city and sign the "Treaty of Yaohun", ceding 600,000 square kilometers of territory north of the Heilongjiang River to Tsarist Russia, and allocating 400,000 territories east of the Ussuri River to Sino-Russian joint management.
Suddenly, 1 million square kilometers of territory of the Qing Dynasty were gone, and most of them were still the ancestral lands of the Qing Dynasty, so the Qing government at that time refused to recognize the Treaty of Yaohun. However, in 1860, the Second Opium War broke out, and Britain, France and Russia forced the Qing government to recognize the Treaty of Yaohun and directly ceded 400,000 condominiums directly to Tsarist Russia, and since then, 1 million territories have been lost forever. The Qing government did not allow the Han people in Guannei to develop the fertile Outer Northeast, but they could only give it to them. If the Han Chinese had moved to the outer northeast at that time, even if the Tsarist Russia secretly occupied it at that time, there would be no way to do anything!
