Puyi's father was Zaifeng, the grandson of the Daoguang Emperor, and Puyi's mother was the daughter of Ronglu, a close confidant of Empress Dowager Cixi. After the failure of the Restoration Movement, the Guangxu Emperor gained the disgust of Empress Dowager Cixi and then became a discarded chess piece of the "Hou Dang" in the late Qing Dynasty, after which he was imprisoned in the palace by Empress Dowager Cixi, and the affairs of the DPRK and China were returned to the hands of the "Hou Dang".
If Empress Dowager Cixi wanted to control the court all the time, she had to re-establish a new emperor, and Puyi entered the eyes of Empress Dowager Cixi at this time, his father was a noble person, and his mother was a party of empresses.
In 1908, the depressed Guangxu Emperor fell seriously ill, so Empress Dowager Cixi ordered Puyi to be taken to the palace to inherit the imperial throne, and from then on, the pressure and public opinion before the fall of the Qing Dynasty fell on Puyi, who was only three years old. Three years later, the Xinhai Revolution broke out, Zaifeng read Puyi's abdication edict in the main hall, the Qing Dynasty fell, and Puyi sat on the title of the last emperor.

Therefore, Puyi once again lived in the Forbidden City and continued to be a nominal emperor, and later in 1924, When Feng Yuxiang brought troops into Beijing, Puyi was able to completely walk out of this cage. Because of his identity, even if Puyi left the Forbidden City, he was doomed to live a stable life, and he has always been in the name of the emperor and used by various forces.
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, without the support and utilization of the Japanese army, Puyi's career as emperor was completely over. He knew that what he had done in the puppet state of Manchukuo would be punished, so he chose to escape in order to save his life, but was quickly captured by the Soviet army and was escorted back to China in 1950.
After returning to Beijing, Puyi lived in his sister's home, and later he refused the special care given by the government, chose to be an ordinary person, and married a new-age woman, Li Shuxian. After Puyi married Li Shuxian, his life was completely returned to the position of an ordinary person.
Puyi's life after marriage is very stable, but sometimes there are some accidents, Puyi was once the master of Beijing city after all, so many people are familiar with him. One day Puyi took the bus to work as usual, I did not expect that there were several Manchu children on the bus, these people because the education they received since childhood was more feudal, after seeing Puyi, they actually performed the old-fashioned feudal etiquette, and immediately knelt down and shouted long live the emperor.
Hearing this long-lost title, Puyi was indeed shocked, these two words easily reminded him of that period of undignified days, so he quickly reprimanded these people. Then he told them that now is the new China after liberation, and this set is no longer happy. Puyi's answer was perfect and admirable.
