After three years of low-key development, Li Yinan said in an interview with the media on the same day that the youjia team actually started the progress of car manufacturing since November 2018, and also completed a series A financing of 500 million US dollars (about 3.1 billion yuan), and the team size is close to 1,000 people.

The self-traveling team is mainly distributed in Beijing, Shanghai and Changzhou, and is responsible for intelligent (intelligent cockpit + automatic driving), modeling, manufacturing business, and the brand headquarters is also in Beijing.
The Changzhou manufacturing base actually acquired the Changzhou plant of the previously fallen Mahayana Motor, on the basis of which Ziyoujia can quickly achieve mass production.
According to reports, the design capacity of the Youjia Changzhou factory is 180,000 units / year, and the factory is currently undergoing pre-mass production transformation and calibration, and will be put into use in March 2022.
In the past three years, Ziyoujia has identified the parallel direction of the two technical routes of pure electric BEV (Battery Electric vehicle) and extended-range electric VEHICLE (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle), focusing on product research and development, and developing the Gemini twin platform.
The first product launched based on the platform, the Youjia NV, is positioned in the medium and large high-end SUV with a length of nearly 5 meters, and is available in both pure electric and extended range versions.
