Musashi Precision Auto Parts (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Musashi Precision Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Musashi Precision"), a Japanese listed company, established in 2003 in the Zhongshan Torch Development Zone. Located about 1 kilometer from the land for the transfer, it is the location of Musashi Corporation in Zhongshan and the only integrated management base of Musashi Precision in the world except for the Japan Headquarters.

As a company engaged in the design and manufacture of automotive transmissions and key components of automobile engines, Musashi products are distributed in China and overseas regions, and its main customers include Honda, Ford, Nissan and other world-renowned automobile manufacturers, and is a supporting supplier of famous brand cars in many countries around the world. According to Tomohisa Oizuka, senior director and regional CEO of Musashi Precision Industries Co., Ltd., Musashi differential gear products currently account for more than a quarter of the global market share of similar products.

"I am very grateful to the government and the relevant staff, who have done their best to promote the Musashi Second Plant project." Tomohisa Otsuka introduced that Musashi plans to increase the total investment of 900 million yuan, in Zhongshan to invest in the construction of a factory to produce new energy vehicle parts and components, mainly electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles supporting the reducer parts, suspension system parts, etc., its products in the industry has a leading position in technology.

Over the years, Musashi has maintained a steady operating trend in Zhongshan. This year, Musashi's annual revenue from its main business is about 1.1 billion yuan. The field of new energy vehicles is the focus of Musashi's future efforts.

"I think there will be a huge change in the automotive industry, and we see this change as a new opportunity to try to grab market share." The first goal is to strive to make our core products occupy more than 20% of the market share. "Tomohisa Otsuka said that the decision to expand production in Zhongshan, on the one hand, has a large number of customers in South China, on the other hand, in terms of taxation, problem solving, infrastructure construction, etc., whether the government can give positive assistance, as well as related support measures, is also within the scope of consideration." After more than 20 years of development, auto parts manufacturing has become one of the important traditional pillar industries in the Torch Development Zone. The production and manufacturing of new energy vehicles for the Musashi Second Plant project will lay a solid foundation for the transformation and upgrading of traditional auto parts manufacturing to new energy vehicle manufacturing in the Torch Development Zone, and bring more possibilities for industrial clusters to enter.
