The exhibition focuses on all the works that won the prize in the first Intangible Cultural and Creative Design Competition in Zhongshan City, involving traditional handicrafts, furniture, daily necessities, ceramics, textiles and other types, with rich forms and unlimited creativity, further showing the style of Zhongshan's intangible cultural heritage and promoting the inheritance and revitalization of Zhongshan's non-heritage.

It is reported that this competition was officially launched on June 12, 2021 "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day", which is the first cultural and creative design competition in Zhongshan with the theme of "Zhongshan Intangible Cultural Heritage".
Adhering to the intangible cultural heritage work concept of "new era, new life, new inheritance", it aims to mobilize more design forces, especially the local designers in Zhongshan, teachers and students of design majors in various colleges and universities, and design enterprises to fully participate in it, and jointly promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Zhongshan, so that "Intangible Cultural Heritage" can enter life and light up history with "creativity".

The competition received a total of 429 entries, including 328 derivative physical designs, 101 arts and crafts, the participating authors covered 12 provinces (municipalities directly under the central government), 22 cities, after several rounds of careful and meticulous selection by provincial and municipal experts, the final selection of 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, 6 bronze awards, 10 excellent awards, 46 finalists.
