The 54-year-old former entertainer Wong Kai Wai (formerly known as Wang Hexi) and former representative of the Hong Kong Olympics windsurfing was fined $4,000 for pleading guilty to one offence of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of tubes suitable for and intended for use as dangerous drugs at the Eastern Magistrates' Court. The facts of the case alleged that Wang Hexi found 0.39 grams of cannabis grass, 0.04 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol and pipes when he was intercepted by police officers in Stanley in September this year, and under the warning, the defendant admitted to possessing cannabis grass for his own use.
