The annual vehicle sales reached 5.6 million units, ranking first in China for 15 consecutive years
In January 2021, SAIC Motor released its 2020 closing record, with annual vehicle sales reaching 5.6 million units, maintaining the first place in China for 15 consecutive years. "Independent brand camp" - Roewe, MG, R Auto, Maxus, Yuejin, Wuling, Baojun, Hongyan, Shenwo, vehicle sales reached 2.6 million, accounting for nearly half of the annual sales of the car series. And the MG brand won the overseas sales championship of China's single brand for the second time; the field of new energy vehicles also achieved new breakthroughs, with cumulative sales of 320,000 vehicles, an increase of 73.4% year-on-year.

According to the latest November sales data, SAIC Motor's vehicle sales reached 601,000 units in November, and the trend of climbing month by month in the second half of the year is obvious. SAIC Passenger Car's cumulative sales this year have approached 700,000 units, more than last year; its wuling newly launched Wuling Chenxing SUV has also become a blockbuster model in the car market, with sales of more than 15,000 units in November.

New energy vehicles have achieved substantial growth compared with last year. As of November this year, SAIC motor's new energy vehicle sales of 638,000 units, an increase of about 1.5 times, is expected to exceed 700,000 units for the whole year. Overseas sales continued to perform well, with SAIC's cumulative overseas sales of 603,000 units from January to November, an increase of 87.4% year-on-year, ranking first in overseas sales of Chinese car companies.
