On the morning of the 18th, the party committee of the Luoyang Municipal Public Security Bureau received a special membership fee, which was the last wish of a retired cadre who was 96 years old, and it was also the best testimony to the sincere original intention of this 80-year-old communist party member who was "always loyal to the party and follow the party.".
The old man, Zhu Qingrong, was a retired cadre of the Luoyang Municipal Public Security Bureau who died of illness on May 15 this year.
Born in 1925, Zhu Qingrong joined the revolutionary work in 1938, experienced the baptism of fire and the test of life and death in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation, successively served as squad leader, platoon leader, political instructor, cavalry brigade leader and other positions, and was repeatedly rated as a combat hero. After he joined the Communist Party of China in January 1941, he has always maintained the original intention of a Communist Party member, practiced the mission of a Communist Party member with his life's energy, and actively participated in the liberation, construction, reform and development of the country.
After the founding of New China, Zhu Qingrong successively worked in the telecommunications and post system, state-owned enterprises, and procuratorial organs. In 1971, he was transferred to the Municipal Public Security Bureau until his retirement in 1983. In June 1991, Zhu Qingrong was awarded the Golden Shield Medal of the First Class by the Ministry of Public Security. After retiring, he still insisted on exerting his residual heat in his old age, and when the "Yangtze River flood", "Wenchuan earthquake", "new crown pneumonia epidemic" and other countries and people suffered disasters, he generously donated money at the first time and did his best to support the people in distress and the reconstruction of the disaster area.
"My father was hospitalized in March this year due to illness. At about 6:00 a.m. on May 9, shortly after my father received emergency treatment, he called me to the front and once again told me about his journey with the party in his life. After paying a special membership fee of 10,000 yuan on behalf of his father, Zhu Qingrong's eldest son, Zhu Jingsheng, restored his last conversation with his father.
"Father said that many of the people who participated in the revolution with him died, he was only a survivor, and he was able to live to this day thanks to the blessing of the Communist Party. Without the Communist Party taking him on the road of revolution, he would not have lived to this day. Everything he did was given by the Party and given by the state. He also once again exhorted us to educate our children to always listen to the Party and follow the Party. "Zhu Jingsheng said that his father may feel that his life is coming to an end, and he is even more worried about the party's centennial birthday." Father said that if I could live to that day, I would personally pay a special membership fee to the party; if something happened to me, you would pay the last membership fee to the party organization for me and express my heart."
Unexpectedly, this dialogue turned out to be the eternal trick between Zhu Jingsheng and his father.
Shortly after the dialogue, Zhu Qingrong's condition worsened again and he was sent to the ICU ward for rescue. On May 15, Zhu Qingrong died of ineffective medical treatment.
On June 18, after taking care of his father's affairs, Zhu Qingrong and his family came to the Municipal Public Security Bureau together, paid a special party fee of 10,000 yuan to the party organization on behalf of his father, and donated various medals and other souvenirs won by the old man to the Luoyang Police Museum, fulfilling his father's last wish.
Zhu Jingsheng said: "My father thought that he had only done what a Communist Party member should do, and this special membership fee not only thanked the party for its kindness, but also wanted to express his firm belief in loyalty to the party and the people." ”
