Bellator 273 Heavyweight Champion United: Bud vs Modavsky

Ryan Budd vs Valentin Modavsky

Bellator 273 is about to be held in Phoenix, USA on January 30, Beijing time, and the headline main game of the day has been determined to be the Bellator heavyweight champion united battle, with the current champion Ryan Bader against interim champion Valentin Moldavsky.

Ryan Budd (28-7, 12 K, 3 S, 1 N) is 38 years old and has a height of 188cm with an arm span of 188cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2007, competing in the TUF Ultimate Fighters (7-0) in 2008 and winning the TIF championship for the season to enter the UFC event, and in 2016 achieved a (15-5) result at the UFC. In 2017, he moved to The Bellator (22-5) and achieved a (6-2) result at the Bellator. Won the Bellator light heavyweight championship gold belt in the first race and successfully defended the title once. In 2019, he won the Bellator heavyweight championship gold belt and has been playing light heavyweight recently so the heavyweight title defense battle has not been played. Lost the lightweight title to Vadim Nemkov's second-inning TKO last year, and in April's point-out victory over Lyoto Machida, who was just defeated by Corey Anderson's first TKO in October.

Valentine Modavsky (11-1, 1 K, 3 S) is 29 years old and has a height of 185cm and an arm span of 191cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2015 and in 2016 a disagreement in the final match at RIZIN decided that losing to Amir Aliakbari was the first and only defeat of his career. He joined the Bellator tournament in 2017 with a (5-1) score and has so far won six consecutive victories, including a point-by-point victory over Roy Nelson last August and a victory over Timothy Johnson in June to win the Bellator heavyweight interim title.
