Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov's MMA mixed martial arts event EAGLE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP 44 will be held in Miami, USA, on January 28. Former UFC star Antonio Silva is scheduled to retire from the tournament and has now been confirmed to be substituted by Russian "paratrooper" Sergei Kalitonov against kickboxing star Tyrone Speng. In addition, former UFC juniorweight champion Renault Barau's opponent has been determined, and he will play against Mexico's Horacio Gutierrez.
Sergei Calitonov (33-9, 22 K, 9 S, 2 N) is 41 years old and has a height of 193 cm with an arm span of 193 cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2000 and has won heavyweight championships at Brilliant, TORM, WTKF and Parus FC. He has won many elites in PRIDE, Bellator, Strikeforce, M-1 and other competitions. KO has beaten: Semmy Schilt, Andrei Arlovski, Alistair Overeem, Roy Nelson, Matt Mitrione. Just after being defeated by Cheick Kongo in the second set in August, fabio Maldonado was just in the first set in November. Calitonov also has a (7-4, 5 KO) kickboxing record and a professional boxing record (2-0, 2 KO), and won the first TKO opponent in a naked boxing tournament in April this year.
Tyrone Si Peng (2-0, 1 K, 0 S) is 36 years old and has a height of 188cm with an arm span of 190cm. Coming from Muay Thai, he has a kickboxing record (KICKBOXING: 107-7-1, 73 KO) and has won WKN, WPKL, A-1, WFCA, It's Showtime and Glory titles. After kicking a broken leg in a Glory tournament in 2014, he moved to the professional boxing scene in 2015, playing (BOXING: 14-0, 13 KO) in 2019 and winning the WBC and WBO Intercontinental Championship Gold Belt in 2018. Si Peng played two MMA matches in 2012 and 2013, the most recent of which was won in the second round of a ten-round professional boxing match in August 2019.
Horacio Gutierrez (7-3, 4 K, 1 S) is 31 years old with a height of 178cm and an arm span of 175cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2014, joining the UFC in 2015 with a (3-1) tuft in the ultimate fighter, leaving the octagonal cage after two consecutive defeats at the UFC. He has won four consecutive games since 2017, the most recent of which was a points victory in December 2019.
Renan Balau (34-9, 8 K, 15 S, 1 N) is 34 years old and has a height of 168cm and an arm span of 179cm. He began his professional MMA MMA mixed martial arts career in 2005 and, after losing his first match points, maintained a 32-game winning streak by the beginning of 2014. He joined the UFC in 2011 with a (25-1) score, winning seven consecutive victories at the UFC, including winning the UFC's junior welterweight provisional championship gold belt in 2012 and successfully defending the title three times in a row. Regrettably was killed by T.J. T.J. in May 2014.
