
On December 13, the victims of the sexual assault case of former Team USA Gymnastics team doctors reached a $380 million settlement with the American Gymnastics Association and the American Olympic Committee. The sexual assault victims included hundreds of people, including Olympic gold medalist Biles.
U.S. Olympic Gymnastics team former team physician Larry Nassar worked as a physician at the American Gymnastics Association from 1996 to 2015, and nearly 200 gymnasts alleged that Nassar had sexually assaulted them, and U.S. Olympic Committee CEO Blackman was forced to resign in 2018. Nassar was sentenced to 40-175 years in prison for sexual assault.
