Dugu Tuo (杜陀), courtesy name Li Xie, was the sixth son of The Sui Dynasty's foreign relative Du Guxin and the younger brother of Empress Dowager DuGu of Sui, who was initially appointed as a feudal Zhongxian Bo for his father's military exploits.

Later, his father was framed to death by Yuwen Hu, and the family exiled Shu County, where he lived for seventeen years.

After Yuwen Hu was killed, the Dugutuo family returned to Chang'an.

Xu Ani, the maid of Dugutuo, confessed that she raised cats and ghosts and went to sacrifice every night of the child's day, because the "son" was a mouse.

Every time a cat ghost kills someone, the money in the victim's home will be unconsciously transferred to the family of the cat ghost.

Once, when Dugu Tuo wanted to drink, his wife Yang Said, "There is no money to be drunk." "—No money to buy wine.

Yang clan also said: "Can make the cat ghost to the Yue gong family, so that I have enough money." I can instruct the cat ghost to go to The Yang Su's house to make money, and my money to buy wine is enough.

Xu Ani then began to curse Yang Su.

Within a few days, the cat ghost went to Yang Su's house.
