Forspoken, the upcoming debut of Square Enix's Luminous Productions studios, recently unveiled more than four minutes of unedited live-action footage. And that's not all the developers reveal, interested players also get new information about the game's technical specifications, developers reveal new details about Forspoken's graphics mode on PS5 and DualSense features.

Creative producer Rao Mitsuno said the game will offer three different graphics modes on the PS5: performance mode, image quality mode and ray tracing mode. Many modern games have added these three graphics modes, which allow players to feel the gorgeous scenes of the game while making perfect use of the hardware functions.

It is said that the performance mode of "Forspoken" will run at 1440p resolution of 60FPS, the quality mode will run at 4K resolution of 30FPS, and the ray tracing mode will simply add ray tracing, and there is no exact resolution and frame count, but compared with other PS5 games with light tracking, it is speculated that Forspoken's ray tracing mode is likely to run at 1080p resolution of 30FPS.

Game director Takeshi Aramaki also described the game's use of the DualSense gamepad feature, claiming that the Adaptive Trigger of the DualSense Controller provides different tactile feedback when the player uses different types of magic. And in the final release of the game, perhaps many other unique features of the PS5 hardware will be implemented, so let's wait and see.
