1. Low self-esteem from childhood to adulthood

In 1994, Wu Xieyu was born in Nanping, Fujian Province. The Wu family who welcomed the male Ding was extremely excited, because Wu Xieyu was the only male in the Wu family's generation, and he would shoulder the responsibility of the Wu family's bloodline inheritance.

Before his grandmother died, he had told his relatives that no matter what, they would save Wu Xieyu's life.

Wu Xieyu's mother is a teacher at a middle school in Fuzhou.

From childhood to adulthood, Wu Xieyu's academic performance is very good, which is the pride of his parents.

He once won the second place in the Fuzhou Secondary School Entrance Examination. After entering Fuzhou No. 1 Middle School, Wu Xieyu is still a role model in the eyes of his parents and teachers. In the end, he lived up to expectations and was admitted to the School of Economics of Peking University.

However, the excellent results did not make Wu Xieyu confident, and his flaws made him feel inferior from an early age.

Wu Xieyu said that when he was in kindergarten, something grew around his neck, and his classmates laughed at himself for being dirty.

When the things on his neck were better, he developed asthma again and coughed at every turn. Classmates laughed at him for "panting like a broken bellows."

After being sneered at, Wu Xieyu closed his inner world.

He often felt that he was not good enough, and in the denial of himself again and again, he fell into great pain. But he did not want to live up to his parents' expectations of him, so he could only study hard and repay them with excellent results.

During the trial, Wu Xieyu said that he would not know anything but study.

2. When the father dies, he has hatred for relatives and friends

The last straw that destroyed Wu Xieyu was his father's death due to liver cancer.

When he was in high school, Wu Xieyu's father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, but his family did not tell him about it in order not to affect his studies.

When his father entered his deathbed, even if he went to visit him in the hospital, Wu Xieyu still simply believed that his father would soon get better.

In the hospital, after spending a short time with his father, he went back to endorse it.

When his family called to inform him of his father's death, he couldn't believe it.

Chagrin, guilt, anger, these emotions intertwined, leaving Wu Xieyu on the verge of collapse.

Wu Xieyu hated that his relatives and friends at home did not tell him his father's illness truthfully, so that he missed the opportunity to accompany his father.

But another, more terrifying thought appeared in Wu Xieyu's mind.

My father spent all his savings on his illness and had to go home. Wu Xieyu felt that his relatives and friends did not do their best to save his father, which caused his death.

He hated them, and he decided to get revenge on them.

3. Kill your mother, let her get away from suffering and happiness

After the death of her husband, Xie Tianqin fell into great grief. The sensitive Wu Xieyu sensed the change in his mother's mood, and he felt that her mother had lost the meaning of life and wanted to commit suicide.

During the New Year, Xie Tianqin took Wu Xieyu to a relative's house to pay respects to the New Year. She envied that other people's families could be reunited, and lamented that she was "what kind of reunion is this?" After saying that, he took Wu Xieyu out to eat KFC.

Hearing these words, Wu Xieyu's heart was even more firm in his mother's world-weary mood.

In his heart, he felt that his mother and himself should return to his father, and that end was his home.

This kind of thought accumulated in Wu Xieyu's heart for a long time, making him more and more convinced that his mother could not come out, wanted to commit suicide, and wanted to leave this world with his mother. Although Xie Tianqin's friends later confirmed that she had actually gradually come out of the pain of losing her husband.

Eventually, Wu Xieyu came up with the idea of killing his mother. He felt that his mother was living too painfully, and killing her would make her happy.

At about 5 p.m. on July 10, 2015, Wu Xieyu hit his mother's head and face with a dumbbell bar, brutally cutting off her mother's life.

After killing his mother, Wu Xieyu acted indifferent and borrowed 1.44 million yuan from relatives and friends in the name of taking his mother to study in the United States.

His uncle could not get the money back after lending it to this nephew, which seriously affected his business and even had to borrow usurious loans to survive. His wife divorced him as a result.

Wu Xieyu took the money and squandered it recklessly, even going to prostitute and gamble.

He succeeded in taking revenge on his relatives and friends!

Wu Xieyu disguised himself and fled for more than three years before being arrested at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport.

After trial, on August 26, 2021, the Intermediate People's Court of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, pronounced a verdict in the first instance that Wu Xieyu was involved in intentional homicide, fraud, and buying and selling identity documents, and sentenced him to death for several crimes.

At this time, Wu Xieyu was only 27 years old.

Perhaps lamenting that there are still infinite possibilities in his future, Wu Xieyu does not want to die like this. The desire to survive in his body was ignited and he appealed.

While waiting for the second-instance trial to be pronounced, Wu Xieyu wrote a 50,000-word letter of understanding in prison, asking for forgiveness from relatives and friends who had been hurt by him, hoping that they would give him a hope of survival.

But the people who could keep Wu Xieyu alive were mainly his uncles and aunts.
