After Apple reduced the area of bangs for the iPhone 13 series, there are more and more rumors about the design of the iPhone 14 "bangs".

Recently, according to the Korean media The Elec quoted industry sources, Apple will be 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max two models will use a digging design, will be equipped with LTPO OLED screen, up to 120Hz ProMotion variable refresh rate, the screen panel will be provided exclusively by Samsung.
The other two entry-level models in the series, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, will still have the same bang design as the iPhone 13 series.
But The Elec didn't give a specific prediction about how many of the Face IDs in the bangs would be arranged under the hollow screen design. Earlier, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg predicted that Apple would use both off-screen fingerprint recognition and under-screen recognition on flagship models.
In August this year, Apple also passed a patent on the flexible screen, which is equipped with an inner flexible screen and hinge opening and closing mechanism to achieve the concealment and display of internal optical components, the patent is also considered to be one of Apple's solutions to the identification of the lower part of the screen.
