According to China Securities News, Guizhou Moutai (600519. SH) relevant person in charge confirmed that 12 bottles of Feitian Moutai will be rolled out throughout the country in the past two days, but the original 6-box unpacking policy of Feitian Moutai still needs to be implemented.
However, an interview with red star capital bureau found that some dealers said that the original 6 bottles of original box wine can be sold in whole boxes.

Cancel an "unboxing order"?

Moutai's "unpacking order" policy began in January 2021, on the eve of the Spring Festival, Moutai increased its efforts to control prices and stabilize the market, and launched a "unpacking order".
Moutai sales company stipulates: "From January 1, 2021, the Moutai store system will be 80% of the Feitian Moutai wine unpacking and selling at the price of 1499 every month, and the manufacturer will check the situation of unpacking and selling and the number of boxes in the store from time to time, if the number of boxes is found to be not up to standard, the distillery will make corresponding penalties to the distributors." ”
However, after the implementation of the "unboxing order", the Moutai wine market has become more and more crazy, the whole box of Feitian Moutai has become a "scarce product", and the carton of Moutai wine has become a new hot spot of speculation.
By October this year, many dealers told Red Star Capital that they had received a notice to cancel the "unpacking order" and had not yet been implemented; some dealers reported that they had not yet received relevant notices.
A Moutai dealer in Shanghai told Red Star Capital Bureau that some moutai products in 2021 have canceled the unpacking order, including the zodiac wine series. Some dealers said that the types of cancellation of the "unpacking order" also include Feitian Moutai. A Moutai dealer in Beijing told Red Star Capital Bureau: "The cancellation of the unpacking order refers to feitian Moutai, but the wine that is not unpacking has not yet arrived, and it is expected to arrive in the near future." ”
According to market news, in the future, Moutai will implement the sales model of unpacking and whole boxes, that is, 12 bottles of Moutai box wine will implement the unpacking order policy and sell out of the box, while 6 bottles of Moutai wine will be allowed to be sold in whole boxes to meet the different needs of consumers.
