MANN: Some of United's players went into training today, and the positive players & staff were quarantined

According to the Manchester Evening News, some Manchester United players participated in training today.

After the 1-0 win over Norwich, club sources confirmed that a handful of players and staff in the Red Devils squad tested positive for covid-19 and that they were sent home for quarantine before Sunday's training session.

The entire team that traveled to Norwich to play initially tested negative, but subsequently, a small number of lateral movements among players and staff tested positive.

Those who are physically fit to train are training today at Manchester United's Carrington training base, where Manchester United have reported positive cases to the Premier League.

In February, there was an outbreak in the Manchester United coaching staff, most of the Manchester United coaching staff had to be quarantined before the game against Newcastle, and the pre-season friendly match with Preston in July was cancelled due to false positive test results.

In July, Manchester United goalkeeper Henderson contracted the new crown and was sidelined for a month, missing out on the start of the season. Pogba, Tres and Pelistrie all contracted COVID-19 last season, and Greenwood was also recruited last month.

United will face Brentford away at 3.30am Beijing time on Wednesday 15 December, and it remains to be seen whether the match will be postponed.
