It is reported that Cybertruck uses a 30X cold-rolled stainless steel structural shell, which is very strong, but this also limits the color selection and cannot be painted like ordinary cars. Musk has previously said that perhaps a coating should be applied to Cyberteruck and then spray painted.
A few days ago, the Cyberruck prototype was exposed, netizens asked Tesla whether it would provide an official film for it, Musk said that there was no early stage, but there were many third-party options. Musk then said that Cybertruck doesn't have any color matching, and you can have any color you want.
This suggests that Tesla may eventually offer outer film packaging, but this is not a priority, and initially buyers must look for a third party to resolve.
At present, the car has accumulated more than 1.2 million orders, musk said that the pickup truck will be produced as early as 2022, manufacturing began in December this year, and deliveries are expected to begin in 2023.
