Afghan Interim Government: At least 80 members of extremist groups surrendered in Nangarhar province

On the 12th local time, the Nangarhar provincial government of Afghanistan officially announced that at least 80 members of the extremist organization surrendered to the Afghan Taliban Provisional Government.

According to officials from the Nangarhar provincial government, members of the extremist group surrendered to the interim government through the mediation of tribal elders, which has granted them amnesty. Members of the extremist groups that surrendered said they would support the interim government.

Nangarhar is one of the more active areas of extremist groups in Afghanistan, following multiple bombings that have resulted in multiple civilian casualties. (Reporters Yang Yuan and Zhang Yuchen)
