In the third quarter, PC shipments exceeded 15 million units

The top four vendors in the desktop and notebook markets all achieved year-over-year growth in Q3 2021, reflecting the booming momentum of the global technology economy and the positive impact on the Chinese market.

Canalys PC analyst Emma Xu said: "Desktops and notebooks overall increased by 3% year-on-year in the quarter, compared with two years ago, an increase of 12%, due to a new wave of upgrading in the commercial sector, in addition, the government's promotion of the 'Industry 4.0' plan, so that the manufacturing industry is gradually releasing new vitality." In addition, the education sector is also continuing to upgrade hardware and software facilities, build and update digital classrooms and modern laboratories, which has injected strong impetus into the market. While the business sector is growing, students' new semester procurement, and merchants' preparation for the upcoming "Double Eleven", have led to strong demand for consumer computer shipments."
