The Experimental Building of Beijing Modern Music Training Institute of "Beiyin Grand Theater" is the "Industry-University Integration Comprehensive Experimental Center" of Beiyin, which undertakes the two important functions of the college's artistic practice and social service, and is an important part of the integration of Beiyin's industry-university-research-innovation construction. In the process of 28 years of development, the college has gradually formed a 3+1 talent training system, that is, teaching + scientific research + experiment + industry. The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Modern Music Training Institute told reporters that the total area of the experimental center is 56,000 square meters, which is composed of an experimental theater with a capacity of 1,600 seats, a black box theater, and a music scene (LiveHouse), which is a comprehensive performance functional area of the college. The center will also build a series of 1500 square meters of large, medium and small series recording studios, forming a digital music post-mixing and large-scale band recording center in the Beijing city sub-center, and the experimental center will become a new landmark of western culture in the urban sub-center after completion. At that time, the "Beiyin Theater", "Beiyin Concert Hall" and "Beiyin Digital Music Center" of the Experimental Center will become the world's leading and domestic first-class teaching and internship training bases, and continue to serve the needs of local economic and social development and the development of the capital's cultural industry.
"Beiyin Grand Theater" was designed by Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute, and the main creative architect Guo Kun participated in the design of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Stage Base of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and the Grand Theater of the City Sub-Center. The core design concept of the theater is a blooming lotus flower, which is intertwined with the ancient river channel that will be restored on the side of the road, and the architectural creativity comes from the collection of music, the sighting of music, the conception of music, the concept of music, showing the fusion of music, education, life and architecture. The building area is designed as a campus without walls, in addition to enriching the nightlife of young people in western Tongzhou, it will also create urban music experience halls, music libraries, music works trading, release halls and other formats to light up the city with music.
Founded in 1993, Beijing Contemporary Music Training Institute has developed into a comprehensive art school with more than 6,000 students and more than 600 teachers.
