As the surrounding dirt was cleared, a stone stele was exposed, and the tombstone recorded the life and deeds of the tomb owner, the tomb owner was called "Wang Shiming" When he saw this name, he felt somewhat familiar, but he was engaged in archaeological work and had come into contact with a lot of historical figures, perhaps this "Wang Shiming" was what he had seen in that ancient book.
Although Professor Wang thought so, he always felt that this "Wang Shiming" had heard somewhere, thinking about it, wasn't there a person named Wang Shiming in his ancestors, Professor Wang took a closer look at some of the deeds recorded on the tombstone, and some of the above things were very similar to some of the things recorded on his family tree.
Professor Wang was shocked in his heart, and immediately shouted: Stop, this seems to be the tomb of my ancestors, Professor Wang made a phone call to his parents in order to confirm, and repeatedly inquired, the ancestor Wang Shiming was indeed buried in the Hunan area, and it turned out that "Wang Shiming" was the tenth ancestor of Professor Wang Wenyuan.
Wang Shiming served as the prefect of Guosongjiang during the Kangxi Dynasty, and the official was sipin, and the Wang family was also considered a famous and prestigious family at that time, but since Wang Shiming, the Wang family began to decline and lost its former glory, and even the burial site of the ancestor "Wang Shiming" was only left with a rough idea.
And this excavation work, finally stopped, the cultural relics department also gave an explanation, because this is a larger tomb group, in the excavation process can not estimate what losses will be caused, in order to be able to protect the cultural relics, in the end there was no excavation again.
