Since the beginning of this year, the city has smashed 114 criminal gangs in four types of cases: theft of car contents, theft of motor vehicle fuel, burglary, and theft of electric bicycles, and arrested 2433 criminal suspects in four types of cases.
The city's "two robberies" police situation fell by 51.07% year-on-year, achieving zero reports in 275 days; theft of motor vehicle fuel police fell by 91.25% year-on-year, achieving 168 days of zero reports; theft of items in the car police situation fell by 43% year-on-year; burglary police situation fell by 22.45% year-on-year; theft of electric bicycles police situation fell by 51.72% year-on-year, driving the city's criminal police situation to drop by 14.4% year-on-year, social security continued to improve steadily.
While cracking down on crime, the criminal investigation department of the city's public security organs has simultaneously carried out the recovery of stolen goods and losses, and has recovered and returned 13.471 million yuan of funds involved in the case, 2120 mobile phones, 1057 electric vehicles, 36 cars, 47 motorcycles, 1141 pieces of jewelry, and nearly 10,000 other items, with a total value of more than 90 million yuan.
