It's been 7 years since Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 mysteriously disappeared. The flight carried a large number of Chinese passengers, which caused great pain to many Chinese families.
According to the Daily Star on December 7, 71-year-old British engineer Richard Godfrey recently announced that with the help of the latest tracking technology, he has pinpointed the current location of MH370 flight - 4,000 meters below the sea level of the Indian Ocean 1993 kilometers west of Perth, Australia.
Yesterday he spoke again with astonishment. He believes that the captain of the MH370, Zahari Ahmed Shah (pictured above), for political purposes, has created this tragedy that is unique in the history of human aviation. Malaysian authorities have so far concealed some key details from the public and the international community.
The biggest of these doubts comes from the fact that Zahari was a close friend of Malaysia's then-opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who happened to be sentenced to five years in prison the day before the incident.
So far, 33 pieces of MH370 debris fragments have been found in 6 different countries, but the location of the fuselage body remains a mystery.
In fact, there was evidence found afterwards that the captain had planned the road of no return in advance. This seems to provide some corroboration for Godfrey's hijacking theory.
Regardless of what happened on the plane at the time of the incident, it is hoped that Godfrey's judgment about the location of the crash this time is accurate. This will at least give those who were hurt in this incident a chance to understand, so that the victims can truly rest in peace.
