The dust has settled on the north-yangtze river high-speed railway The economic gap between central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu is expected to be smoothed

The feasibility study report on the Shanghai-Hefei section of the Shanghai-Yurong-Rong high-speed railway along the river was recently approved, which is commonly known as the "North Yanjiang High-speed Railway" connecting Shanghai, Jiangsu and Anhui, starting from Shanghai Baoshan and passing through Suzhou, Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou, Nanjing, Chuzhou and Hefei. The plan is fully settled and only waits for the start of construction at the end of the year. The ecstasy of the city with stations passing through, and the natural loss of the high-speed rail.

With or without a station, the impact of this railway will be positive for all Jiangbei cities. Previously, both the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway that had been opened and the South Yanjiang Railway under construction were concentrated in the south of the Yangtze River. The north-yangtze river high-speed railway will help the Yangtze River Delta leader Shanghai spill over to jiangbei cities, and the economic gap between central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu and southern Jiangsu will hopefully be smoothed.

Not only in Jiangsu, but also in Shanghai and Anhui, the gap between the three places will also change with the arrival of the north-south high-speed railway. Combined with more and more cross-river channels, various traffic channels in the south, north and middle of the river in Shanghai, Suzhou and Anhui have formed a trapezoidal radiation network with the Shanghai Chongming Island cross-river passage as the top, and the regional traffic "cluster skeleton" of the entire Yangtze River Delta is more solid.

At present, the North Yanjiang High-speed Railway has completed the initial installation and repair, and is expected to be officially started before the end of the year

As the "fifth horizontal" of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" planning, the Shanghai-Yurong high-speed railway has a total length of about 2100 kilometers, a total investment of about 530 billion yuan, and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, spanning the six provinces and cities of "Shanghai, Suzhou, Anhui, Eyuchuan", and the main node cities are Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Yichang, Chongqing and Chengdu. At present, the Wuhan to Yichang section has taken the lead in starting construction, and the whole line is expected to be completed by 2030.

The North Yanjiang Railway is the easternmost section of the Shanghai-Yurong high-speed railway, from Shanghai (Baoshan), through Suzhou, Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou, Nanjing and Anhui Chuzhou and Hefei in Jiangsu Province, connecting to Hefei South Railway Station. The total length of the line is 554.6 km, the design speed is 350 km / h, and the total investment of the project is 180 billion yuan. At present, the initial installation and repair has been completed, and it is expected to officially start construction before the end of the year.

The environmental assessment report discloses the detailed direction of the North Yanjiang Line and the scale and layout of each station - the project has 16 stations, of which 10 are newly built, namely Shanghai Baoshan, Chongming, Qidongxi, Haimen North, RugaoXi, Huangqiao, Taizhou South, Yizheng North, Nanjing North and Dashu Station. The line and station are fixed, and naturally there are several joys and sorrows.

Previously, because of the selection of the Jiangsu section and the site selection of the Shanghai channel, the direction of the line has been confusing. However, Jiangsu and Shanghai soon reached an agreement on the plan for the north-west high-speed rail through the chongming island middle line. However, the selection of the Jiangsu section has not been released. Regarding the direction of the Jiangsu section, there are many schemes such as south, north and middle.

Among them, the southern line plan is: through the southern Taizhou Taixing, Jingjiang, access to Nantong; the northern line plan is: take Taizhou city, Jiangyan, access to nantong north county-level city Of Hai'an, and then go south to Nantong. The central line scheme is located between the two, and relatively "straightened", through the town of Huangqiao in the north of the Jingjiang River all the way to the east into Nantong. In the past two or three years, the local forums and public accounts in Taizhou have been questioning continuously, "the provincial government does not hurt or love, the municipal government is not angry and does not argue", when will the Taizhou high-speed rail realize the dream?

Judging from the final approved report, the mid-line plan won. Taizhou suddenly came two high-speed railways (the other is the Yantai Tin Changyi high-speed railway). Taixing, Jingjiang, Hai'an, these counties and cities may be slightly lost, but Taixing, Jingjiang already have a longitudinal YantaiXi Changyi Railway is not bad; Hai'an as the hub of Central Jiangsu is not lacking in railways at all, if there is a station along the north river is the icing on the cake, if not, it will not beat your chest. The site needs of local counties and cities cannot be fully met, but Taizhou and Nantong are undoubtedly the biggest winners.

Local counties and cities are fighting a war of words to grab the site, and Taizhou and Nantong are always the final winners

Why Taizhou and Nantong are big winners, this has to start from the poor and weak traffic in Jiangbei. The Shanghai-Nanjing intercity and Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railways have been opened to traffic for more than 10 years, and the frequency of high-speed railways and trains has made the southern Jiangsu region and Shanghai almost no time and space gap. Most cities in Jiangbei have only ended the history of not being able to get high-speed rail trains in recent years, especially in Taizhou, "Suzhou has no airport, Taizhou has no high-speed rail" - the high-speed rail circle around Taizhou once became a tacit mockery by netizens.

For Nantong, there are 3 high-speed railways in the national plan that can be connected with Shanghai and the directions of southern Jiangsu, central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu, but only the coastal (Yantong) high-speed railway has begun to operate, while the north-west high-speed railway along the river has not yet been built, and the second high-speed railway in Beijing-Shanghai is even more distant. At present, the main skeleton of high-speed rail is difficult to meet the requirements of efficient connection between Nantong and surrounding cities and major nodes across the country.

In addition to Taizhou and Nantong, north of the Yangtze River, the Jiangbei region of Nanjing, the cross-river city, will also benefit a lot. Nanjing Jiangbei traffic has always been inferior to Jiangnan, and the North Yanjiang High-speed Railway will build Nanjing North Railway Station into a super station, with a total of 16 30 lines in the field scale, more than Nanjing South Railway Station. In addition to transportation links, economic links have long been dominant in the south. There are differences in the degree of traffic density, market activity and private wealth in Jiangnan and Jiangbei in Jiangsu.

The North Yanjiang River will bring changes to the above three places in terms of transportation and economy. The "high-speed rail vacuum" zone between Qidong, Nantong New Airport, Nantong Urban Area and Rugao, and the "high-speed rail vacuum" between Qidong, Nantong New Airport, Nantong Urban Area and Rugao along the North River will be filled; the "high-speed rail vacuum" between Nanjing North and Yizheng North of the North Yanjiang High-speed Railway will directly drive the Nanjing Jiangbei area and enhance the track connection of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area.

In addition to the three places of Taitongning in Jiangsu, Anhui cities have also benefited a lot. The North Yanjiang River will merge with the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway at Chuzhou Station, and also add Dashu Station in Quanjiao County (Chuzhou). Hefei's status as a high-speed rail hub will also be consolidated along the river in the north, and the current speed of the Hening Railway is 250 kilometers per hour, which is difficult to say that it is high-speed. However, after the opening of the north along the river, Hefei to Nanjing and Shanghai is really "a flick of the finger".

After talking about Jiangsu and Anhui, we return to the pole of the north yanjiang high-speed railway, that is, Shanghai. It is worth noting that the North YanjiangHaimen North Station will be located near the new nantong airport, which will form the Shanghai international aviation hub together with Pudong and Hongqiao airports after completion.

In the next five years, Shanghai will promote the spatial pattern of "central radiation, two wings flying together, new city power, and north-south transformation". Among them, "the north-south transformation to enhance the development momentum along the river and the bay, and the comprehensive construction of Chongming's world-class ecological island" are inseparable from the north along the river high-speed railway. The industrial upgrading of Jiading in the north and the scientific and technological innovation in Baoshan need to be helped to open up urban space and outreach situation along the north along the river.

The pattern of "double dragon and river" of the north-south railway along the river has taken shape, and more and more river crossing channels will connect the two

More than a hundred years ago, the direction of the Shanghai-Nanjing-Jinpu railway made most of the westbound railways out of Shanghai concentrated in the south of the Yangtze River, which is also the "dark wound" of the long-term shortage of high-speed railways in Jiangbei. In recent years, Shanghai radiation has spilled over the south of the river and spread to the north of the river, but due to the "vacuum" of the railway, Shanghai's direct influence on the north of the river is mainly reflected in the Yangtze River estuary.

After the arrival of the North Yanjiang River, the radiation range of Shanghai will go all the way up along the north bank of the Yangtze River. At the same time, the "South Yanjiang Railway" in the Shanghai-Nanjing section of the River Corridor has started construction in 2018 and is expected to open to traffic next year – thus, the "Double Dragon Sandwich River" pattern has taken shape. The North Yanjiang Railway is from Shanghai to Nanjing to Hefei, and the South Yanjiang Railway is from Taicang to Nanjing, both with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and the stations are almost all in Jiangbian City.

According to the layout plan of the Yangtze River trunk line cross-river channel announced by the National Development and Reform Commission last year, 44 cross-river passages will be built in Jiangsu by 2035, and these bridges, bridges, tunnels and tunnels will also connect the north-south railway along the river. Sohu City combed and found that at least 7 of the 44 river crossings directly or indirectly connected to the north-south high-speed rail stations along the river.

From east to west, it includes the Huchong Line Crossing River Passage connecting Taicang City and Chongming District; the Haitai River Crossing Channel connecting Haimen City and Taicang City; the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge connecting Tongzhou District of Nantong City and Zhangjiagang City; the Changtai River Crossing Channel connecting Xinbei District and Taixing City of Changzhou City; the Nanjing Qixiang River Crossing Channel connecting Nanjing Liuhe District and Qixia District; and the Nanjing Shangyuanmen River Crossing Channel connecting Nanjing Pukou District and Gulou District.

In addition, Anhui also has related river crossings - connecting Hexian and Dangtu Counties of the Ma'anshan Yangtze River Railway Bridge, which will allow Ma'anshan and Hefei intercity directly. Although Ma'anshan is not in the south along the river high-speed railway, Ningma traffic is like the same city. Therefore, from this point of view, the cross-river connection line of the north-south high-speed railway along the river can be extended from Shanghai to Anhui.

It is worth noting that the above-mentioned river crossings are all (including) railway channels, and if you add highway passages, the number will be more. Some of these passages are under construction and some are still under planning. When the North Yanjiang high-speed railway is opened (2030), these channels will presumably be in place one by one.

On the map, the north-south passage along the river is like two ropes that dance with the wind, and the cross-river passage from Taicang to Chongming to Qidong is exactly like the connecting line in the middle of the two ropes, going up along the Yangtze River, and the "two parallel ropes" from Shanghai to the Yangtze River in Anhui are connected by one river crossing passage after another, and this "two horizontal and seven vertical" is like a ladder, which is erected on the Yangtze River. It is conceivable that through this ladder, the radiation of Shanghai can spread all the way to the west, and the cities of Jiangnan and Jiangbei will also have more frequent connections.

The dust has settled on the north-yangtze river high-speed railway The economic gap between central Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu is expected to be smoothed

After the opening of the Shanghai-Yurong high-speed railway, the pressure on passenger and freight transportation along the river channel will also be greatly alleviated

The sites mentioned above are all big sites in big cities. The northern yanjiang river also runs through a number of top 100 counties such as Qidong, Rugao, Taixing, Yizheng, and Feidong; the south yanjiang railway will string together the top 100 counties such as Taicang, Changshu, Zhangjiagang, and Jiangyin. The gap in the density of the railway between Jiangnan and Jiangbei will be narrowed, and southern Jiangsu and Central Jiangsu can become an economic whole more closely.

The north-south high-speed railway and the river crossing have yet to be completed, and we can extend our vision and examine it from a longer-term time and a broader spatial dimension. After all, in the long history of the river, the distribution of transportation routes and the change of transportation efficiency in the Yangtze River Basin have a wide impact, which determines the rise and fall of cities along the river to some extent.

For a long time, the Yangtze River has been a natural danger, it is easy to get out of the river and difficult to enter the River, and the country of Tianfu is at ease; in ancient times, Yun Mengze gave birth to the Jianghan Plain; the Huai River was plagued in an endless stream, and the war was endless; in modern times, the main stream of the Yangtze River and railway traffic have risen, the economy along the Yangtze River has developed rapidly, and the transportation and economic structure of the Yangtze River Basin has begun to take shape. Rivers and rivers, the horse road railway, the chain of the city and the land are recast from time to time.

After the reform and opening up, almost all the cities in the Yangtze River Delta have taken off as a whole, and since the boom of high-speed rail, the Shanghai-Nanjing, Shanghai-Hangzhou, and Hang-Nanjing railways have constituted the core small triangle of the Yangtze River Delta, and the north-west yanjiang high-speed railway is bound to pull Hefei into this core circle. In addition, the Hehang high-speed railway will also be fully opened to traffic next year, and the core small triangle will be expanded into a large triangle composed of Shanghai, Shanghai and Hangzhou - the North Yanjiang High-speed Railway is an important side of it, and the trapezoidal skeleton formed by the South Yanjiang Railway and the river crossing channel will make this large triangle more solid.

From a functional point of view, the north along the river high-speed railway strengthens the function of the intercity railway network in the north along the Yangtze River Delta, the linkage between the two sides of the Yangtze River will be more frequent, and the pressure of passenger and freight transportation in the channel along the river will also be greatly alleviated, and the Yangtze River Economic Belt will form a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor and ecological corridor.

Further upstream, the Shanghai-Yurong high-speed railway, where the north river is located, connects the Yangtze River Delta, central China and southwest urban agglomerations, forming the main artery of east-west rapid transit in the Yangtze River Economic Belt - which helps to solve the bottleneck of the Three Gorges freight gate and smooth the golden waterway of the Yangtze River. Under the support of railways, especially high-speed railways, the "Mother River" can be slightly easier.
