Outgoing

Start by visiting the Nathan Phillips Square area.

Named after The Mayor of Toronto Nathan Phillips from 1955 to 1962, the square has a pool of water, the most characteristic design, on a clear day, it reflects the complete reflection of the new Town Hall building and Toronto Peugeot, which is very stunning. In winter, it becomes an open-air ice rink for the entertainment of the citizens. Various events are often held here depending on the season, weather, and festivals.

Of course, the old town hall is next to him, and in my opinion, the old town hall is like an old king, serene and majestic to the side, witnessing the new emperor create new miracles.

A 1-1.5 hour stroll through the square is enough, then head east, where the CF Toronto Eaton Centre is located, and as soon as you walk east through the mall, it's Yonge-Dundas Square. These two areas, one outdoor and one indoor, can go shopping, eat, and find a favorite restaurant here at noon to solve the problem of lunch.

Toronto City Hall Toronto City Hall

Head southwest to Yonge St and around Union Station. If you take pictures while walking around, you can arrive in 30-40 minutes.

The current Union (Union Station) hall was built in 1914 and was not completed until 1924. The overall design of the building is in the Style of Beaux-Arts, which is not just a railway station, but a representative landmark of the city. Facing the exterior of the block, there are 22 Roman Tuscan columns distributed at equal distances, forming a rain corridor between the main entrance wall of the hall, and the practical and artistic values of the design are perfectly unified, and the whole building looks imposing. The interior hall is spacious and bright, with a high arched ceiling paved with patterned square bricks and intricate carvings on the eaves or corners, which overall feel elegant and brilliant.

It is a building with a story.

When the first train came out of here in 1858, it was just a wooden house. Union Station underwent several constructions during its development. In 1904, the famous Great Fire of Toronto burned down almost all of the city's homes, but it survived the disaster. After many years, it finally has the way it is now, and it was listed as a National Monument of Canada in 1975.

Union Station has seen the glorious development of the Toronto-Canada Railway in the 20th century and today still makes an outstanding contribution to the movement of up to 250,000 people per day. Union has dedicated lounges for The Great Hall, VIA Train Company, GO Intercity Transit, TTC Subway and up Express Express to Pearson International Airport.

Union Station and CN Tower

Get out of Union Station and don't worry about not finding cn Tower at all, you just have to look up at it and walk in that direction, it takes about 10 minutes to get there. Near CN Tower is Ripley's Aquarium of Canada and Rogers Centre, and a small street across the street is Toronto Rallway Museun.

............ Important planning before ascending the tower............

The Toronto Rallway Museun (Toronto Railway Museum) indoor experience is closed, and it only takes 30 minutes to take a photo and walk outside. Rogers Centre doesn't watch the game and doesn't take much time to look outside. Finally, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada and CN Tower are the ones that take the most time. I chose to go to the aquarium first and climb the tower last.

............ 5:00 Ascend the tower............

CN Tower is beautiful day and night to see the whole of Toronto, and I chose to see Toronto sparkling at night.

Take the transparent sightseeing elevator for 58 seconds and fly up to the 346-meter main floor. When the door to the main floor opened, it already made me feel like a fly. It was really charming to surround the windows to enjoy the evening in Toronto at 360 degrees. There is a fast food restaurant on this floor that serves Western light meals and coffee, and the price is acceptable. The small shop has tables and chairs by the window, where you can eat dinner and look out over the scenery.

On the next floor is the 351-meter revolving sightseeing restaurant, you can enjoy the 360-degree "rotation" scenery while eating, it is a restaurant that needs to be reserved, and the price is still relatively high.

On the upper floor of the revolving restaurant, there is the 356-meter-high EdgeWalk experience area, where visitors can walk out of the tower, stand on the edge of the platform, feel the air and wind at 356 meters, think of the face full of hair that has been blown out, the body is suspended in the air, and the whole body will be nervous. If you want to experience this activity, remember to come in the summer. The cost is $195 CAD.

CN Tower (West Tower) has a maximum manned height of 447 meters, and it takes an elevator to the shypod (sky cover), and when the visibility is good, you can see Niagara Falls and New York State. There is an additional fee of $15.

There is also a place where psychological qualities are challenged. On the lower floor of the main floor, 342 meters, there is a glass floor, directly see everything at the entrance of the ground, standing on it as if hanging in the air, really worried about the glass under the feet.

Dinner was enjoyed right above this. CN Tower closes at 9:00 p.m. and everything is just right.

Bay St (Bay St) is located in the financial center of the city of Toronto, it is famous for the financial services industry and is an important main street. Later, the municipal road was re-planned and extended to Davenport Road.
