Wang Weiyue, a meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, said that the main precipitation period of the rain and snow weather was from the 7th to the 9th, and the scope of influence was mainly the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the central and eastern parts of the northwest region, north China, northeast China and other places. Due to the general water vapor conditions, the snowfall in this process is mainly small to moderate snow, and there is heavy snow in some parts of the northwest. The recent temperature rise in the North China Plain and other places has been significant, so the precipitation is mainly sporadic light rain and sleet.

Rain and snow in the northwest on December 7. The main snowfall period is from the evening of the 7th to the early morning of the 8th, and there is light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of the western part of Inner Mongolia, the eastern and central parts of the northwest region. The largest areas of snowfall are in the Hetao region of Inner Mongolia, eastern Gansu, northern Shaanxi and other places, or heavy snowfall may occur.

In the provincial capital city of Xi'an, there will be light rain around 20:00 tonight, and the rain will continue until tomorrow morning, and the maximum temperature in Xi'an will drop to 7 °C tomorrow with rain.

Snow began to fall in Xining this evening, mainly in light snow weather, and will end tomorrow morning. In addition, yinchuan will have sleet this evening, which will not last long, and gradually end in the night.

On December 8, North China "took over the baton" rain and snow process. Parts of central Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, northern Hebei, and northern Beijing have small to moderate snow or sleet.

Among the provincial capital cities, Hohhot's rain and snow phase changes are the most complex, tomorrow morning to morning there is light snow falling, at noon the temperature rises after turning to sleet, after night again to snow, the rain and snow process will continue until the early morning of the day after tomorrow.

Taiyuan began to rain around noon tomorrow, turned to sleet after nightfall, and then the rain and snow stopped. Tianjin will also have light rain tomorrow night to the morning after tomorrow, which will have little impact on traffic travel as a whole.

On December 9, the rain and snow "turned" to the northeast. On the morning of the 9th, the rain and snow area was transferred to the northeast region, with rain dominating the south and snow dominating the north. Most of the eastern and northeastern regions of Inner Mongolia have small to moderate snow or sleet, and some parts of western Jilin and central and southern Liaoning have light rainfall.

The northeast region has recently been warmer obviously, the maximum temperature in the provincial capital cities of Shenyang, Changchun and Harbin in the next two days will generally be about 10 °C higher than the same period of the year, the maximum temperature in Shenyang tomorrow is 9 °C, the maximum temperature in Changchun tomorrow can reach 5 °C, and the maximum temperature in Harbin can reach 4 °C. The temperature is high, the water vapor conditions are average, and the northeast provincial capital may not see a large snowflake flying this time.

Shenyang began to have rain at noon on the 9th, and ended in the early morning of the 10th, the overall rain was mainly light, and it briefly turned into sleet before the end. The rain in Changchun began on the night of the 9th and turned to sleet on the morning of the 10th. Meteorological experts remind that the northwest, north China and other places will usher in rain and snow weather, although most areas are dominated by light rain and snow, will not form obvious snow, but still be vigilant against slippery roads, pay attention to travel safety.
