The "Every Snowflake Is Warm" cultural and creative collection activity was sponsored by China Youth Daily and Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute, and hosted by Tsinghua ChangsanYuan Multiverse Immersion Center.

On September 3, 2021, the Olympic Preparation Office of the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute signed a strategic agreement to create a multi-immersive platform for the Winter Olympics and strive to let the snowflakes float on behalf of the majority of reds into the opening ceremony.
Zheng Jianwei, chief designer of the Multiverse Immersion Center of Tsinghua Changsan Hospital, led the team to conduct in-depth creation and research and development of the project, and found that the creation of hundreds of millions of digital snowflakes of different shapes through fractal algorithms is relatively mature and has multiple technical paths, but in the metaverse, digital snowflakes need to have personality if they can become the digital avatars of participants. How to give each snowflake a unique personality and soul becomes a huge challenge for the team.
