On behalf of the Second Committee of The Jinghai District of Tianjin Municipality, Liu Chunlei delivered a report entitled "Striving to Start a New Journey of the Second Centenary Goal and Striving to Build a New Jinghai of Innovative Development, Ecological livability, Civilization, Happiness, and Socialism Modernization." He said: The Third Congress of the CPC in Jinghai District, Tianjin is a very important meeting held at a crucial juncture in the historical convergence of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the goal of the "two hundred years." The theme of the conference is: hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, do not forget the original intention, forge ahead, strive to open a new journey of the second centenary goal, and strive to build a new Jinghai of innovative development, ecological livability, civilized and happy socialist modernization.
The report is divided into five parts: first, the work of the past five years. The main expected targets for development in the next five years are: the average annual growth rate of regional GDP is about 6.5 percent, the general public budget revenue is steadily growing, the average annual growth rate of fixed asset investment is more than 8 percent, and the income growth of urban and rural residents is higher than the economic growth rate.
