On the afternoon of December 4, after the conclusion of the first plenary session of the third session of the Jinghai District CPC Committee, Liu Chunlei, secretary of the district party committee, led the new standing committee members of the district party committee Jin Huijiang, Xu Ying, Chen Zizhou, Qu Haifu, Li Jianxin, Yang Po, Liu Qijian, Zheng Ping, Wang Minghui, and Guo Ying to the memorial hall of the first party branch in Jinghai District to review the history of the founding of the party, revisit the oath of joining the party, and declare the firm political conviction of the new leading group of the district party committee. Zhao Enhai, chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, and Dou Shuangju, chairman of the District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting.
In the square in front of the first party branch memorial hall in Qulanli Village, Wangkou Town, Liu Chunlei and others collectively relived the oath of joining the party. Subsequently, we walked into the memorial hall of the first party branch in Jinghai District and conducted a collective visit under the leadership of the interpreters.
The establishment of the first party branch in Jinghai in 1942 in Qulanli Village, Wangkou Town, was a landmark event in the history of Jinghai's party. In order to comprehensively display the struggle course of the people of Jinghai under the leadership of the party, and give full play to the role of party history in learning from history and educating people, Jinghai District established a memorial hall in the birthplace of the first party branch in Jinghai. The memorial hall has set up five exhibition areas: "The Light of Spark", "The Establishment of Party Organizations and The Victory of the Revolution", "Moving Forward in Exploration", "Growing in Reform and Opening Up", and "Striving for a New Era", which comprehensively display the glorious course of Jinghai's revolution, construction and reform under the leadership of the party.
Through their visits, they expressed that they should take history as a mirror, keep firmly in mind the purpose and mission of the communists, accurately grasp the general trend of Jinghai's development, earnestly enhance their sense of responsibility and mission in speeding up the construction of a new Jinghai of innovative development, ecological livability, and civilized and happy socialist modernization, implement the goals and tasks set by the party congress with the perseverance and tenacity of Qingshan, and use their hearts, initiatives, and pragmatic officials to gather a powerful joint force to promote the high-quality development of Jinghai. Strive to achieve the second centenary goal and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
