Because Ma Zeping has been at a disadvantage in the confrontation with Mick and there is clearly a problem with the chassis, the elder Ma Zeping discussed a solution with the team at the end of May.

The final solution is also simple and straightforward: replace the chassis. After replacing Monaco with a new chassis, Ma Zeping also led his teammates in practice for the first time.

In order to be able to solve the problem once and for all, the old Ma Zeping suggested that the team replace his son with a new chassis, and the cost was paid by himself.

"Our final decision was to build a new chassis, and I'll pay for it." The elder Ma Zeping also took pains to create the conditions for his son to have a fair duel with Mick.

But even with the new chassis, Ma Zeping's performance has not improved significantly. In practice, qualifying and regular matches, Ma Zeping was still completely suppressed.

At the Qatar Grand Prix, Ma Zeping also broke his father's gift and once again changed back to the old chassis.
