Ailao Mountain because of the misfortune of four geologists and climbed the hot search, this mountain belongs to Yunnan Province, the domestic popularity is not large, to Yunnan tourists, are to Lijiang, Dali, Xishuangbanna and other places, will not go to the Ailao Mountain kind of primitive forest adventure.
Before the misfortune of the four geologists, there were two incidents of mysterious deaths in the history of Ailao Mountain, and the people who died on those two occasions were more than 100 people.
Let's first look at the history of Mount Ailao. In the history of Yunnan, there have been eight mysterious ancient kingdoms: first, the ancient kingdom of Mengdi; second, the ancient kingdom of Jurchen; third, the ancient Dian kingdom; fourth, the Ailao kingdom; fifth, the Nanzhao kingdom; sixth, the Dali kingdom; seventh, the Guozhanbi kingdom; and eighth, the ziqi kingdom.
The name of Ailao Mountain comes from the Ailao Country.
About 2400 years ago, in the area of the Nu River, a huge and complex ethnic group "Ailaoyi" arose, and they established a country, that is, the Ailao State. "Lai prison" is a transliteration of the Dai word "lailong", because the people of the mourning country like to ride elephants, and soldiers also ride elephants when fighting, so it is also called an elephant country.
In the period of Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Wu of Han, who was majestic in the world, sent troops to attack the state of Ailao, but was defeated one after another. As soon as the cavalry of the Great Han dynasty saw the elephant array of the mourning country, they collapsed and could not form an army.
Emperor Wu of Han used one country as an enemy of one country to bully the people of the Mourning Prison State to be small and weak, but unfortunately he was unable to conquer the Sorrowful Prison State until he returned to heaven. After Emperor Han Zhao ascended the throne, although he was young, Huo Guang, the chancellor of the imperial court, and others continued to use troops against the Ailao State.
In 69 AD, Liu Mao, the king of Ailao, led 77 vassal kings, more than 50,000 households, and more than 550,000 people to the Han Dynasty, and was willing to be a younger brother in front of the Han Dynasty from then on, and was called a tribute every year.
Unfortunately, this friendly time has only passed ten years.
In 76 AD, the new King of Ailao broke with the Han and rebelled against the Han. This time, it took only a year for the Han Dynasty to sweep away the rebellion, and the King of Ailao fled west with the remnants of his army to the area that is now bordering Burma and Thailand, forming the "Shan State", which gradually evolved into Shan State.
The state of mourning ceased to exist and became a historical term.
Yue is the Han Dynasty's general Song Yue, that is to say, the Song general with more than a hundred subordinates, into the mountains to pursue the rebels, but unfortunately killed, people and horses did not survive, their clothes, also took off. The explanation at that time was that there were monsters in the mountains, and they were poisoned by the monsters, so they got rid of them.
Since then, Ailao Mountain has become a forbidden area for the Han army. The people of "Ailaoyi" who fled into the mountains were able to cultivate and recuperate, and later slowly evolved into the Dai, Yi, Hani, Miao, Zhuang, Yao and other ethnic minorities living in the area of the Ailao Mountains, leaving behind the folk saying that "Dai yi does not separate families". These peoples were a tribe in ancient times.
In 1673, due to the Kangxi Emperor's decision to withdraw his domain, Wu Sangui, the king of Yunnan, rebelled against the Qing. The San Francisco Rebellion lasted only a few years before it was swept away by Kangxi. Part of Wu Sangui's remnants fled to Vietnam and the other to Mount Ailao.
This time, the number of people who died at Mount Ailao was several times higher than that of the Han Dynasty. Hundreds of people died in the valley, their knives and guns at their side, their clothes folded together. To be sure, they did not encounter the enemy to fight, and they died inexplicably.
After telling the historical story, let's take a look at the geography and climate of Ailao Mountain, which is the watershed of the Yuan River and the Mo River, the dividing line between the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Hengduan Mountain Range, with an average altitude of about 2,000 and the highest peak of more than 3,000 meters. Due to the rainy subtropical climate, the mountain forest vegetation is very rich, most of which are primary forests, which cannot be entered by ordinary people, and experienced hunters do not dare to go too deep into the mountains. The temperature difference between the mountain and the bottom of the mountain is large. When you go down 20 degrees, the mountain even reaches sub-zero, especially in winter.
The four geological personnel who were killed all had many years of experience in surviving in the wild, and before they entered the mountain, they must have done some understanding of the situation on the mountain.
Judging from the current situation, all four of them died of inactivity, usually frozen to death. Only people who freeze to death will have the physiological reaction of undressing and smiling before dying.
We all know that 4 geological surveyors, the eldest 32 years old, the youngest 25 years old, have all been soldiers, their physical fitness is stronger than ordinary people, when they entered the Ailao Mountain, they carried compasses, sapper shovels, machetes, shovels and other tools, about 1 and a half days of rations, there are storm jackets, down jackets, thermal underwear, and even brought gasoline.
They entered the mountain from the 13th, and on the 15th, they lost contact, and the local search and rescue work was immediately organized, and the body was not found until the 22nd.
How could they be frozen to death at room temperature of around 7°C with their cold suits and outdoor camping gear?
We normal people, take off our clothes at about 7 ° C, stay up all night in the process of exercise, and will not freeze to death.
What's even stranger is that all 4 of them carry RTK devices, which are outdoor warning devices that can be connected to satellites as soon as they are turned on, allowing rescuers to know their exact location. But they didn't open it, missing the best time to rescue.
Logically, if they are in distress and unable to save themselves, they will definitely use RTK equipment to seek rescue.
They died a terrible death, like the two groups of dead people in history.
The vegetation of Ailao Mountain is luxuriant, and there is miasma in the mountain. The Book of the Later Han Dynasty: "Military officials have been killed by miasma and 145. ”
Ma Yuan and his soldiers passed through mount Ailao and encountered miasma in the mountain, and four or five of the ten people died.
"Sui Zhi" contains: Lingnan more than 20 counties, low humidity, heat, humid steaming, plague plague, to be known as the miasma of the area.
The Lingnan mentioned in the "Sui Zhi" is the Guangdong area, but there is miasma in the mountains of Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Guangdong, and Fujian. Especially in primary forests, miasma is more severe.
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, a nationalist army passed through mount Ailao, and also encountered miasma, killing many people.
What is miasma?
Miasma is a unique substance in tropical rainforests, which is a toxic gas produced after the decay of animals and plants in a high temperature and humid environment, mostly in the morning and evening, and after the rain. It has existed for a long time or a short period of time. , long days or even months, short an hour or two.
The miasma is mixed with carbon monoxide, deadly bacteria and other substances, and people and animals rarely survive after encountering them.
According to the season of miasma production, the folk masters in the south are divided into grass miasma, yellow plum miasma, new grass miasma, and yellow grass miasma; according to the symptoms and nature, they are divided into cold miasma, hot miasma, and dumb miasma.
In the ethnic minority areas of Xishuangbanna, there are a few folk songs: ten people go to Mengla, and nine people are difficult to return home; to chefunan, first buy coffin boards; to go to Bodhisattva Dam, first marry their wives.
It very vividly describes the harm of dysentery to human beings, and many people talk about the discoloration of "miasma" and the season of miasma, and they absolutely dare not enter the mountain forest.
As early as the 1990s of the last century, in the Simao Shiyakou Village of Ailao Mountain, there were things that science could not explain, this is a Yi village, many people died without warning, the county sent doctors to go, there was no problem, more and more people died, from 1993 to 2003, a total of 36 people died, all kinds of shocking rumors circulated.
Experts were later alarmed, who examined the water quality and gave the idea that the Coxsackie virus was transmitted through drinking water. Coxsackie virus is an enterovirus, which is produced in the feces of animals, infected with human viruses through the respiratory tract and digestive tract, and the infected human body will have cold symptoms such as fever, sneezing, cough, etc., which last for a long time and can lead to sudden death of myocardial ischemia.
But this statement has also been questioned, so why did the two villages on the mountain and down the mountain not far from Shiyakou Village drink the same water source, but there has never been a similar death? And people who die, from the appearance of symptoms of illness to the ground, but a few hours, some people go to bed at night, and die in the morning. In 1996, after the county sent doctors into the village, the disease was effectively controlled in the next few years. However, in the three months of June, 7 and 8002, a total of 24 people fell ill and died 8. And these sick and dead people are often concentrated in a few families, while others are fine.
Moreover, the fatality rate of coxsackie virus infection is not high.
Eventually, the living had to move out of the village. In 2010, CCTV also made a program on this matter, and the name of the program was "The Fog of Sudden Death on Mount Ailao".
In 2011, Professor Zeng Guang, chief scientist of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, led a multidisciplinary research team to the Ailao Mountains, but did not find the exact reason.
The real cause of death of the 4 geological investigators is still a mystery, and I believe that it will not be long before the truth will be revealed.
Let me assume here, don't take it seriously! Suppose that after they entered the mountain on the 13th, they were trapped by miasma at a certain time and gradually lost consciousness, so they failed to use RTK equipment to request rescue, nor could they make a fire or dress for cold protection after the temperature dropped, but instead undressed unconsciously, eventually leading to freezing to death.
The cause of their death should have been miasma.
