The above "Shikasho" should be the Japanese Rokusaburo Shiraishi, the number of Shirashi, a native of Nagasaki, Japan. In the early 20th century, it operated the Liusan Garden Hotel in Shanghai. This Weng loves calligraphy and painting, and has close contacts with Shanghai calligraphers and painters, especially Wang Yiting and Wu Changshuo, and Liusan Garden has become a place where calligraphers and painters gather. He was particularly appreciative of Wu Changshuo, who in 1914 held a solo exhibition in the Liusan Garden, which collected a wealth of Wu's works.
