According to Chen Xiaozheng, Xu's Lufeng dragon lived in the early Jurassic Period, about 200 million years ago. It has a small head, stout hind limbs, and a long tail.
"This is a gift from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to celebrate our 70th anniversary."
