On the afternoon of 18 November, Huang Biao, secretary of the Panyu District Party Committee, went to Zhongcun Street to pray for the xin estate community and the Huajing community on Qiaonan Street to investigate community governance and mass work. Deng Zhanpeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Panyu District CPC Committee and director of the Panyu District CPC Committee, Guo Hongjie, deputy district governor, and responsible persons of relevant departments of Panyu District participated in the investigation.
Visit the Party Building Cultural Hall of The Blessing New Estate Community
Huang Biao and his party first came to the community of Qifu Xin Estate on Zhongcun Street, visited the public service station, police office, party building and cultural hall of the community, and listened to the briefings of the community leaders on community governance, grass-roots party building, management services, epidemic prevention and control, etc. The community covers an area of 2.5 square kilometres and has a permanent population of about 90,000 people. As a very diverse and inclusive mega-mixed community, The Clifford Estate community is home to 476 international friends from 92 countries, more than 1,000 hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, and enjoys the reputation of "Little United Nations". Huang Biao pointed out that the community is the basic unit of social governance. Community governance is related to the implementation of the major policies of the party and the state, the vital interests of the residents and the masses, and the harmony and stability of the grass-roots level. He hoped that the majority of community workers should deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on community work, always adhere to the people-centered approach, give full play to the role of the community party committee, identify the various needs of the residents, and provide accurate and refined services for community residents. By strengthening communication with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents and international friends, mobilizing them to actively participate in community governance work, ensuring that the people live and work in peace and contentment in the Blessing New Estate community, and build a clean, tidy, safe and orderly community environment. At the same time, on behalf of the Panyu District Party Committee and the Panyu District Government, Huang Biao expressed his gratitude to the vast number of community workers for their hard work, and hoped that more young party members and cadres would work and exercise in the community neighborhood committee, enhance the vitality of the community neighborhood committee team, and better provide quality services for community residents.
Investigate the Huajing community
Subsequently, Huang Biao came to the Huajing Community on Qiaonan Street, visited the party and mass service home and public service station in the community, listened to the introduction of the community leader on the community work, deeply understood the work of the Huajing community in party building services, the service of the people in difficulty, and the construction of safe communities, and carefully collected everyone's opinions and suggestions on community governance. Founded in 2002, Huajing Community mainly includes two communities, Huajing New Town and Helenburg, with 2760 households and a permanent population of nearly 8500 people. In 2020, Huajing New Town Community was designated by Panyu District as one of the demonstration points for the construction of red property organizations, which vigorously promoted the community party organization to play a core role in grass-roots governance. Huang Biao stressed that it is necessary to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, focus on building a new pattern of co-construction, co-governance and sharing, accelerate the modernization of grass-roots social governance, make efforts in concept innovation, system innovation, service innovation and scientific and technological innovation, do a good job in community work with a strong sense of political responsibility, further improve the new pattern of co-construction, co-governance and shared community governance, and continuously realize the people's yearning for a better life.
