On the morning of November 17, the Presidium of the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of China in Guang'an City held its fourth meeting.

Zhang Tong, Zhao Bo, Gan Yongde, Chen Wei, Zhang Wei, Su Hubiao, Hong Li, Liu Xiangyu, and He Huafeng, members of the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Conference, attended the meeting. Zhang Tong presided over the meeting.

The meeting shall be composed of 40 members of the Bureau, and the actual number shall be 39, which shall meet the prescribed number.

The meeting listened to the report of the director voter on the pre-election of the members of the sixth municipal party committee and the municipal discipline inspection commission; adopted the list of candidates for the sixth municipal party committee and the municipal discipline inspection commission; adopted the list of candidates for the preliminary selection of the alternate members of the sixth municipal party committee; and listened to the report of the conference secretariat on the discussion of the report of the municipal party committee and the work report of the municipal discipline inspection commission by the delegations.
