On December 3, Zhang Tong, secretary of the Guang'an Municipal Party Committee, and Zhao Bo, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor, visited the Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau and exchanged views on seizing the strategic opportunities for the construction of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, deepening the cooperation between the bureau and the city, and promoting the high-quality development of economic cooperation.
Zhang Tong first expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau for its long-term strong support for Guang'an economic cooperation and investment promotion. He said that Guang'an is the hometown of Comrade Xiaoping, the chief designer of reform and opening up, and is the strategic frontier of the construction of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, with prominent opportunities and great development potential. At present, Guang'an City's opportunity policy superposition, industrial development momentum, economic and social development showed a good trend, I hope that the Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau will continue to care about and support Guang'an's economic and social development, in the development of key industries, the introduction of major projects, the construction of key parks and other aspects of in-depth cooperation with Guang'an, to help Guang'an to transform the policy superposition advantages into economic development advantages.
Zhao Bo briefly introduced the economic and social development of Guang'an City and the work of economic cooperation, and pointed out that Guang'an City is making every effort to build a modern industrialization system and promote high-level open cooperation.
