In Liuxi Half Street, not only some traditional food shops in Haimen and Changle, such as Haimen goat meat, Shi Hui pastries, and Zhuangyuan Dim Sum Line, have been placed to taste local specialties and delicious food, but also the historical buildings of Changle Old Post Office No. 49, Changle Soda Shop and other old streets have been repaired and reopened.
Zhou Guoqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Haimen District CPC Committee and executive deputy governor of the district, said that the construction of Zhang Xiao's hometown town project is not simply "nostalgic", but more importantly, "enlightenment", and it is necessary to pass on the Haimen spirit of Haimen from generation to generation, so that future generations can draw more development impetus from the city memory and promote the high-quality development of Haimen. According to reports, Zhang Xiao's hometown town is invested and built by Zhongnan Group, which is a provincial key project and a demonstration project of the rural revitalization complex. The total planning area of the town is 4.7 square kilometers, closely focusing on the dual strategy of "rural revitalization and cultural rejuvenation", and planning has four functional sections of "cultural tourism core area, Jianghai pastoral area, industrial intelligent manufacturing area, and new city gateway area", which is a multi-industry co-prosperity cultural tourism project integrating culture, tourism, education, agriculture and other functions.
