Yu Ji was born in Linchuan, Jiangxi in 1272 AD, the character Bosheng, the number of Daoyuan, known as Mr. Shao'an, a famous thinker, writer, poet of the Yuan Dynasty; he has been an official in the capital after middle age, until his old age, he did not return to Jiangxi, so in his old age, he has been missing his hometown, missing the landscapes and rivers of Jiangnan, so in this poem "Sitting Alone in the Courtyard", he used a very sad tone to exhaust the pain of homesickness, and wrote naturally full of sorrow.
