Jichen Thesis page, Yuan, YuJi, on paper, length 32.3 cm, width 93.2 cm, calligraphy. This page is one of the Yuan Bajia Shuzha. 钤 "虞集" print. There are 18 seals in the collection, including "The Seal of Xiang Molin's Father's Secret", "Merlin Shanren", "Tianlai Pavilion", and "Xiangzijing Treasure Seal".

Yu Ji (1272-1348), zi Bosheng, no. Daoyuan, known as Mr. Shao'an, a native of Meishan, Sichuan. A famous scholar, poet and calligrapher of the Yuan Dynasty, he was the grandson of Yu Yunwen V of the Southern Song Dynasty. Yu Ji was less educated and tried to travel from Wu Chengyou. Emperor Wenzong ascended the throne and became a scholar of Kuizhangge. He was given the title of "Wenjing" (文靖) by the Governor of Jiangxi Province, the Protector of the Army, and the Duke of Renshou County.

Yu Jisu bears the literary name, and is called "Yuan Confucian Four Families" along with Jie Daisi, Liu Guan, and Huang Shu. The poem is on a par with Jie Daisi, Fan Yi, and Yang Zai, and is known as the "Four Houses of Yuan Poetry". He once studied the "Classics of the World", and wrote "Ancient Records of Daoyuan Studies" and "Testament of Daoyuan".
