Like many stars, 16-year NBA veteran Ben Wallace experienced many highs and lows in his basketball career.

While the road wasn't easy for him, he did his best, winning the NBA championship with the Pistons in 2004 and being an All-Star in 2002-2006.

It's been many years since we saw Wallace on the pitch, but he recently shared a few words before entering the Hall of Fame, looking back on his career and some of what he learned along the way.

As the first undrafted player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it's fair to say that when it all started, no one but Wallace knew what he was capable of.

In fact, he himself never really thought he would become a Hall of Famer.

Wallace's journey is a journey that many people can relate to: a loser, many against him overcoming difficulties through hard work, dedication, and warrior spirit.

Ultimately, these values make a difference, and we pay tribute to Wallace for perseverance despite all the obstacles on the road.
