In 2020, a live-action sitcom "Dream Back to Lujia" based on the historical and cultural story of Lujia Village made Lujia Village popular on the Internet and became a well-known "Drama Art Village".
"We have chosen a cross-section of the long history of the ancient village to make the cultural element a new highlight of tourism." Yin Zifeng, screenwriter and director of "Dream Back to Lujia", said that he initially went to Lujia Village to invest in homestays and restaurants, and after learning the story of the village, he relied on the resources of ancient villages and the characteristics of history and culture to create a "Dream Back to Lujia" sitcom, and the holiday live performance allowed tourists to participate in the interaction and immersive. Picking up the hoe to work and putting down the hoe to act, more than 10 villagers have tailor-made roles in the sitcom "Dream Back to Lu's Home".

The live-action drama also brought fire to the homestay in Lujia Village, Lu Jun said that the village operates the homestay in a variety of ways such as farmers' own operation or village collective unified foreign investment and leasing, and through the creation and development of homestays, it has brought dividends to the village collectives, farmers and operators.
Yuan Kening, a 37-year-old designer, came to Lujia Village in 2017 to design cafes, restaurants and landscapes for the village, and slowly fell in love with the ancient village as he learned more and more about the ancient village. Since 2018, Yuan Kening has successively rented 8 courtyards from the village and opened a "creation" homestay. "Many things in the yard are designed by themselves and made from local materials, and the wood and some decorations found from the village maintain the charm of the ancient village and allow tourists to have a completely relaxed place." With the increasing number of tourists in the village, 29-year-old Lu Haiyan returned to her hometown from Shijiazhuang city and became a tour guide in the village.
