Wang Chuyi (1142–1217), courtesy name Yuyangzi, was a Jin Dynasty Ninghai Dongmuren. Wang Chuyi lost his father at a young age, and his mother was filial piety. As a child, he did not like to play, preferring scriptures. At the age of seven, he was resurrected without illness, and thus had an epiphany about the principle of life and death. At the age of fourteen, he had to meet the Lord of the Xuanting Palace, and after that, he behaved unusually. In the year of the weak crown, "or to tell the marriage, laugh instead of should not" [1].

In February of the eighth year of Dading (1168), Wang Chuyi was officially ordained at the age of twenty-seven at the age of twenty-seven. At the end of February, he went with the Chongyang ancestor to practice in the Yanxia Cave of The Kuncheng Mountain. His mother, Zhou Shi, came to worship the ancestors, and the ancestors gave her the name Deqing and the name Xuanjing Sanren. [2] In the spring of the ninth year of Dading (1169), he bid farewell to his ancestors and lived in seclusion in the Yunguang Cave of Tiecha Mountain in Wenden County. In April of that year, the ancestor returned to Ninghai, passing through Longquan, and flew an umbrella to give the king a gift of the name Yuyang. In the eighteenth year of Dading (1178), the king was formed together. In the autumn of the twenty-second year of Dading (1182), Yuyang Zhenren went to Ninghai to visit Danyang Zhenren. On November 13, the twenty-seventh year of Dading (1187), Yuyang Zhenren was ordered to Yan, and Jin Sejong treated Fang Wai with a gift. In July of the second year of Cheng'an (1197), Emperor Jin Zhangzong summoned him, and later gave him the title of Master Xuan of The Body and the Purple Cloak, and gave Yan Du Xiuzhen and Chongfu Erguan [3]. On April 23, 1217, the fifth year of Zhenyou (1217), Yuyang Zhenren died at the age of seventy-six after sitting in the Ninghai Sacred Water Jade Void Temple. He is the author of "Cloud Light Collection" and "Halal Collection". [4]

Not long after Wang Chuyi worshipped the master, he accompanied Master En and the three brothers ma, Tan, and Qiu to the Yanxia Cave of Kuncheng Mountain to practice asceticism. Wang Chuyi had been practicing for a while in accordance with local traditions since childhood, and his daoist heart was firm, and his faith, will, and practice far exceeded that of other teachers and brothers. Therefore, after worshiping the master, the Chongyang Ancestor was very important to the king. Therefore, during the cultivation of Yanxia Cave, The Ancestor of Chongyang was about to pass on the Fa-rectification to him. [5] The so-called "Fa-rectification" here is that the ancestors hinted that the content of Wang Chuyi's previous cultivation was actually biased and needed to be corrected, and at the same time encouraged him to work hard and cherish this hard-won Fa- principle.

In the spring of the ninth year of Dading (1169), Wang Chu bid farewell to his teacher and retreated alone in the Yunguang Cave of Tiecha Mountain in Wenden County. In April of that year, Master Chongyang took four disciples, Ma, Tan, Qiu, and Hao, and moved from The Jiang Family Nunnery in Wendeng County to the Golden Lotus Hall in Ninghai Prefecture. Passing through Longquan, there was an incident of flying umbrellas, which happened to be recorded by Changchun Zhenrenqiu.

In April, Yu and Danyang and several others, from Chongyang Division, Ziwen Deng ru Ninghai, Shi Mai Longquan, the sun was slightly blazing. Shi Ling Yu waited in front of him, and he was holding an umbrella in the back, half a mile away. Yu suddenly looked back, saw the umbrella rise in the air, and Yu hurriedly returned to ask about it. Yun: "Holding on to the top, I don't know what it is." "At the beginning, the umbrella rose to the northeast, looked at the rising, fell in the sand, pointed to its direction and looked for it, and there was nothing. Shi Yufa was the prince of Youyangzi and hid in the ChaShan Mountains in the corner of the East Sea. The mountain is one hundred and ten miles to Wenden, and Wendeng is seventy miles to the beginning of the umbrella. When the umbrella rises, and before the fall of the umbrella Yang Gong, the handle of the Yang Zi Dao number, to give the Yan. There is no rhyme in the rhyme, but it is written by the master. [6]

According to Changchun Zhenren Qiu's personal account, it was April, when we walked to Longquan, the weather was relatively hot, and Master asked several disciples accompanying us to go first in front, and he himself held an umbrella and walked behind, and the distance between us was about half a mile. I don't know how long later, I suddenly looked back at Master, but I didn't expect that the umbrella in Master's hand suddenly took off into the air, and I was very surprised, and hurried back to ask Master what was going on. Master said, "It flew up by the wind itself, and I didn't expect it to fly like this." ”

At first, the umbrella flew up from the northeast, gradually rose little by little and flew away, and then fell on the sand, we looked in the direction it flew, and found nothing. At that time, I remembered that Master Wang Was studying in the mountains. Cha Shan is one hundred and ten miles away from Wenden, and Wenden is seventy miles from where the umbrella flies. When the umbrella took off, it was exactly the hour of Tatsumi (7:00 to 9:00 a.m.), and at noon (Shenshi, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.), the umbrella landed in front of the grass temple where Wang Chuyi lived, and the "Youyangzi" in the handle of the umbrella was the Dao number given to Wang Chuyi by the master. Changchun Zhenren explained that the word "佥" in the handle of the umbrella, which is not in the rhyme, was made by the master himself.

Ancestor Chongyang's gift of this trumpet and extraordinary demeanor must have been of great significance to Wang Chuyi, who was devoted to the Tao. Not only that, Grandmaster Chongyang also gave Wang Fu a poem "Asking Internal Affairs", which presented the principles of Neidan's cultivation in it, implying encouragement, and instructing him to always be diligent and not to let go. Only by "being quiet in the mind", transcending the root gate awareness, and so on, can we reach the Taoist body and return to the true nature. Poetry:

Practice the facts of the record, as long as the heart is quiet and clear.

The vision does not give birth to the dragon to live by itself, and the nose door is not closed and the tiger often stops.

The root of the tongue is refreshing, and the sound in the ear is clear.

The north and south merge into one place, and the east and west intersect to destroy the three Pengs.

Mu Jin was coiled up, and the baby was walking freely.

The knot is made of Jindan out of the top, and the five rays shine through the cloud shed. [7]

After receiving this encouragement from his mentor, Wang Chuyi practiced even harder in the Yunguang Cave of Tiecha Mountain, and his asceticism was unimaginable to ordinary people. Many historical books record that Wang Zhiyi can stand on one foot, tiptoe up to look down on the abyss, and stand for many days. The people who saw it were all stunned and called him "Mr. Iron Foot". Wang's practice is very similar to that of "Bo Di Nobody" in Zhuangzi. According to the Zhuangzi Outer Chapter Tian Zi Fang, No one can "climb a mountain, walk on a dangerous stone, approach the abyss of a hundred beggars, carry a round of backs, and hang out in two minutes" [8]. This ability directly made the wind-bound Lieyu Kou sweat to his heels, and he was overwhelmed.

Yin Zhiping, who had been a pro-Yuyang Zhenren, recorded the asceticism of Yuyang Zhenren in the "Quotations of Qinghe Zhenren's Northern Journey", and its words were easy to understand and compiled below.

When Master Yuyang came to his home, he didn't know what he wanted, and he didn't miss out of the house. Later, in the Tiecha Mountain, there was a leak overnight, weeping to mourning, intending to eat it, and feeling the heavens with the breath of cloth and harmony. The last three days were heartfelt, and after that there was a thousand trials, and he knelt in the sand and stone, and his knees were worn to the bone. The mountains are full of thorns and thorns, and the barefoot travels in them, so the world is called "iron feet". After three years of cloud, the old business begins to disappear. Those who learn the Tao must understand this truth. [9]

Wang Chuyi practiced asceticism for nine years, and finally entered into the great miracle. Changchun Zhenren praised: "Nine summers greet the sun, three winters hold the snow to sleep." ”[10]

In short, in Wang Chuyi's mind, he admired Master's Daoist cultivation to the point of great admiration, and his sense of Master's meticulous cultivation was in his heart. Wang Chuyi left a lot of poems remembering his mentor, from which we can see his gratitude for the ancestor of Chongyang. [11] A few poems are excerpted here, and they are to be studied later.

"Encounter with the Master": "The high road to the mountain state, the three religions through the search all the way." All the laws and dust are exhausted, and the grass and wood are truly cultivated. ”[12]

"SurrenderIng the Master": "Su Qixin will rest when he sees him, and the true master and disciple will not leave behind." Yu Tang Tonghui was lifeless and nodded without showing a smile. ”[13]

"Qingyu Case: Xie Shi'en": "Xie Shi ti fell outside, and it is difficult to account for life and death." Do not fall into reincarnation beyond the Realm of Dharma. The fortunes of the heavens, the incarnation has no phase, and a little bit of clarity is there. Swinging floating world Chang Antai, idle Qiongzhi picking. The Protector God King is powerful. The bell throws fire, sweeps the dust for thousands of miles, and eliminates all the evils. ”[14]

"Xing Xiangzi Meets The Master": "In the eight years of Ding, you must meet Chongyang." Feel true kindness, the king of broken hearts. Qingzhong inducement, quiet in the weight. See Zixia Sheng, Xiang Feng Zhi, Ju Yun Guang (Dong Ye). Hug everything, should be round and square. Summon dongmu, get the dao baby lang. Dan is full of fruit and wears a neon dress. Then see Sanqing, The Jade Emperor, and Pu Xingxiang. ”[15]

"Teachings from the Encountering Teacher": "I tasted the living gods, and the nourishing spirit was clear and clear. The heart shines into the palace, and the qi boo Danding rotates. The shapes and gods are all wonderful smoke locks, and the movements are forgotten. The general wish is that the dust will be understood in this way, and for a while it will be the same as the pandu man ship. ”[16]
