Beijing, 4 Aug (CNBC) -- According to the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Li Hui, former deputy director of the Economic Committee of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) (at the level of a department head), was suspected of accepting bribes, abusing his power by personnel of a state-owned company, and accepting bribes from a unit, and the Gansu Provincial Supervision Commission concluded its investigation and transferred it to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution. Upon designation of jurisdiction by the Gansu Provincial People's Procuratorate, the Baiyin Municipal People's Procuratorate shall review and prosecute. A few days ago, the Baiyin City People's Procuratorate made a decision to arrest Li Hui on suspicion of accepting bribes, abusing their powers by personnel of state-owned companies, and accepting bribes from units in accordance with the law. The case is under further processing.
