It was an order signed in early December last year and was only just announced. No one expected that just 3 weeks after the signing of this order, Guo Changshun suddenly passed away and could no longer complete his renewed position.
On December 23, 2018, a weekend, in order to return to the college to check the information, Guo Changshun suddenly felt heart discomfort on the way to the subway, fainted at Exit 8 of Caobao Road Station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro, and unfortunately died at the age of 46.
Love the army and chase dreams
Twenty-eight years ago, at the age of 19, Guo Changshun was admitted to the Hefei Artillery Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army with excellent results and became a soldier. After graduating from university, he successively went to the grass-roots level to exercise, became proficient in artillery command and position service, was familiar with the light vehicles of the gun frame, and used the shooting command freely. He was a platoon commander and was commended as an outstanding grass-roots cadre by his brigade for knowing and loving soldiers; when he was a deputy instructor, the "five-step method" of ideological and political education at the grass-roots level, which he loved his post and devoted himself to his work and explored in practice, was summed up and popularized by the group army; the quality of the factors was comprehensive, and after selecting and transferring organs, he was praised as "desperate three langs" because he was willing to work in a down-to-earth manner, sought truth and was more truthful, accepted tasks happily, and completed tasks resolutely, and was praised as "desperate three langs," which was well received by leaders and colleagues. His rich grassroots work experience made him have a strong interest in the political work of the army, and in 2004 he entered the Xi'an Institute of Political Science of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and studied as a graduate student majoring in party building in the army. After completing his studies, Guo Changshun came to the Shanghai Institute of Political Science of the Armed Police to participate in the course audition, and stood out among the 7 people and became a teacher in military uniform.
Projects, scientific research, papers, and textbooks appeared on Guo Changshun's schedule, and one after another was posted on the wall in front of his desk at home. Due to long-term overload, in 2016 he developed atrial fibrillation in his heart and was forcibly admitted to the hospital. After a slight improvement in health, he returned to work, completely forgetting that his heart had gradually become overwhelmed. At the end of July last year, he underwent abdominal cyst removal surgery, and in order to give good lessons to the students at the beginning of the school year, he devoted himself to the college course in early August. On 5 December, he once again left him in a hospital bed with a heart attack. After being discharged from the hospital, he was supposed to continue to recuperate at home according to the doctor's instructions, but he immediately returned to the college to work, working overtime for 3 consecutive nights until 2 o'clock in the evening. "I'm a soldier, I'm in good health, it doesn't matter." "You should do a little more in your uniform." He always used these words to comfort his family.
Heavy work takes up most of Guo Changshun's time, but in his spare time, he always goes to the Shanghai Songhu Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in Baoshan Linjiang Park, where he leaves many figures of him explaining to tourists. He always chanted to the people around him: "One is not afraid of suffering, and the other is not afraid of death, and the spirit of death was, is, and will always be our precious spiritual wealth." In his daily teaching, he also mentioned more than once that he should conduct on-the-spot teaching, always be prepared to train troops and prepare for war, and organize the trainees to go to "Wang Jieban", "we should let the trainees feel that atmosphere and cultivate the spirit of daring to fight and win."

"One lap, two laps... Even though he was unable to run anymore in the last two laps, he still insisted on using perseverance to complete the whole process.
At Guo Changshun's memorial service, groups of mourners came in droves, many of whom had academic arguments with him. Those who once fought with him were now weeping one by one: "He is a man who admits to death, is particularly true, and is not willing to accept defeat." In his 28-year military career, he was awarded the third class merit twice because of his outstanding work performance.

Born in Fugou, Henan, Guo Changshun is deeply nourished by the filial piety culture of the Central Plains, and when he is around his mother, no matter how busy he is at work, he will go home to cook for his mother, even if he is thousands of miles away from home, he will call her every day to greet him. Treating his mother-in-law, he is pure to filial piety, carrying the old man up and down the stairs, taking good care of him when he is sick; his wife is on a business trip, and the clothes and fruits in his bag have been prepared before leaving; on the homecoming bus, he is worried that the child is lonely at home, and always has to talk to his son on the phone. Neighbors, sons, classmates, parents, unit colleagues, renters, as long as Guo Changshun is mentioned, nine and a half out of ten people say good.
