The farewell ceremony of Zhang Xin's body will be held at 10:00 on March 20 at the Plum Hall of Babaoshan Funeral Home.

"Teacher Zhang Xin is a loyal communist fighter and a fearless revolutionary." According to the obituary, Zhang Xin, formerly known as Zhang Ruishan, was born in Beijing on December 6, 1919, and was the first generation of teachers in the acting department of the Beijing Film Academy. She graduated from the Beiping Municipal No. 1 Girls' High School in 1937 and joined the National Liberation Vanguard in the same year; during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, she joined the "Peking Student Mobile Group" led by the underground Party of the Communist Party of China, and successively carried out anti-Japanese propaganda work in Lu, Henan, Jiangsu, Hubei and other places; and joined the Communist Party of China in 1938. In the winter of the same year, he went to Yan'an, entered the senior class of Shaanxi North Public School, and then studied at Yan'an Women's University, and became an actor in the Luyi Experimental Theater Troupe after being seconded to perform the drama "The Man with the Gun".

As the first generation of teachers of Beiying, Zhang Xin is an excellent film educator. In 1954, the former Soviet performing artist Bao Ma Kazansky came to the Beijing Film Academy to teach in the actors' special class, and the college assigned Zhang Xin and Xiao Long, Di Li, Ouyang Ruqiu, Shi Kuan and other teachers to assist Soviet experts and participate in teaching work. After graduating from the intensive course, she worked as an acting teacher and class teacher. In addition to teaching, she organized students to shoot film and television works such as "Lily" and "Marathon Wedding".

The Beijing News reporter learned that Zhang Xin is also an excellent film artist. After the founding of New China, she worked as an actress in the Beijing Film Studio with her second sister Zhang Ruifang. In 1950, he participated in the filming of the feature film "Gods and Ghosts", playing the aunt of the great god; in 1953, he played the female director in the film "Zhao Xiaolan". According to public reports, Zhang Fengyi, Zhang Tielin, Fang Shu, Shen Danping, Tang Guoqiang and Kou Zhenhai of the 78th class of the Beijing Film Academy are her students.
