Veterans are too lazy to mention the "League of Legends" introductory knowledge: hero selection

author:Blue and white club game encyclopedia

A few days ago, a friend came to our area to play trumpet, saying that he did not want to stay in Ionia to continue playing, and I did not ask him for the specific reason.

So I accompanied him to play matching upgrades and earn essences, and in the process found that in fact, even to S11, "League of Legends" still has a certain amount of fresh blood flowing in, although the increase in new players during the s5-s6 period is certainly not a level.

At the same time, it was also found that many newcomers will show a lot of "lack of game common sense" behavior even if the main match raises the summoner level to about level 20. Looking back at the current situation, in fact, it is normal, first of all, "League of Legends" is already an old game, various mechanisms, routines and game knowledge have tended to be perfect, so the gap between veterans and novices is greater than a few years ago, and our inclusiveness of newcomers will naturally decrease; secondly, "League of Legends" does have a lot of technical content on various platforms, but mainly "Hero Raiders" and "Event Analysis" These two categories, the real "Newcomer Need to Know" few people do.

Here's an update to some content for newbies, hoping to help. This article is mainly about the "Hero Choice" section

If the old people are still willing to play matching or low-segment rankings, they will find that in fact, many people are still the same as three or five years ago when choosing heroes, there will be a lot of situations that make your blood pressure rise, I will briefly summarize, roughly divided into two situations:

Extremely unsuitable for the selection of the corresponding position

No consideration is given to the selection of the lineup

Let's talk about the first case, what is "the selection of people who are extremely unsuitable for the corresponding position". Taking the ranking as an example, the player who has been assigned to the position of the upper single has selected a Nami to come out, and then the teammates began to frantically play question marks, and finally the Nami global 0 role also made the opposite single develop quite comfortably, and finally buried the evidence game, which is probably like this.

Generally speaking, the general pattern of lol positions is as follows:

On the order - tanks/warriors

Medium Single - Mage/Assassin

ADC – Most of the shooters

Assist - Soft auxiliary / hard auxiliary

And "the selection of people who do not consider the lineup at all" is that the corresponding hero of each position seems to be correct, but the 5 people forming a whole will make the lineup have obvious flaws. For example, the lineup of "Shangdan Galen + Playing Wild Qianjue + Zhongdan Robbery + Ad DeLevin + Auxiliary Void Eye" not only lacks legal damage, the other party is well targeted in the outfit, but also lacks enough hard control, resulting in the inability to open the group, the ability to chase and retain people is poor, and the ability of teammates to protect each other is also insufficient.

In summary, the choice of heroes needs to consider 3 factors:

whether it fits the position you are matched to (such as the single position in the desert emperor correspondence);

Whether you can improve your own lineup (aoe, hard control, first-hand ability, damage type, etc.);

Their own proficiency with heroes

As for the "difficulty of the line", this is basically not considered in the novice period, because the high probability that no matter what you choose, you will be suppressed by the other party.

Let's talk specifically about what each location usually does and which heroes to recommend for novices to play.

If you hit the wild, it is not recommended for novice contacts at all. There are two main reasons:

The influence of the wild on the overall situation is too large, and the line period can intervene in 3 lines, and there is also the responsibility of controlling the map resources after the end of the line period;

The learning cost of playing wild is the highest of all positions, because the 3 roads at least have a fixed template to learn and reference in the "line period", but the planning of the wild line is often based on dynamics, and novices often have 3 situations when they force themselves to play wild - the wild area is reversed; the whole field is inactive; and the teammates are collapsed by the crazy back-crouching on the opposite side.

Back to the pattern of the various positions just mentioned, many veterans will say "some shooters can also play singles, and many mages are also better choices for singles" It is true that this is true, such as the Holy Gun Game, spear of vengeance, Kennan, Rambo belong to this category, but the question arises again - are archers and mages really suitable for novice players? What kind of hero do you want your side to be on the list when you rank yourself?

So it is clear that tank/warrior type heroes are novices who should choose to play on a single, and it is best to have a certain positive group ability, some heroes who mainly rely on single-player lines to win the game are not recommended to be honest, because in low segments and matching rounds, when you are single-player with lines, teammates will often be opened, and then lost the game by a wave. Although many people will say that the current version of the tank is not as good as before due to the problem of equipment strength, I still insist that it is a good way for novices to play single tanks to familiarize themselves with the game.

The recommended single heroes for novices are as follows:

Basically, they are all controlled, can produce some meat suits, even pure meat suits of heroes, teammates will also prefer this type of hero, because they can create an output environment for them. Stone man and Kennan are not recommended, because novices playing these two heroes first must consider the timing of entry, and second, when there is no big move or big empty, the group does not know what to do...

Zhongdan is generally a mage and an assassin, and there are a few soft aids that are actually quite suitable for novices to take to the single mix, but if the passers-by bureau, if the output ability of the single is poor, it will basically lose half.

Although mages and assassins have been subdivided into several categories by the designers, such as "guardian mages, heavy artillery mages" and "assassins, guerrillas", there are nothing more than 3 types of game ideas:

Develop in the middle of the road, brush resources as much as possible, and then after the equipment is formed, play with the opposite team (representing the hero "Desert Emperor");

Travel support and make your teammates fatten up (representing the hero "Cast Star Dragon King");

Wander support and fatten yourself up (this is basically the idea of various assassins)

But the current version, especially the passer-by bureau, regardless of ranking or matching, you want to develop in the middle of the road, eat 6 chickens, 3 wolves by the way, and then rely solely on these resources to make their own equipment form and then let teammates to advance or compete for the big and small dragons, such a script is difficult to happen, because before that teammates are likely to have been broken in the opposite middle road. And tp support is actually quite idealistic, because in the low-end game and matching teammates will rarely give you a good position of the eye as the fulcrum of tp, most of the time you can only pass the tower or creep, these positions are usually quite bad...

However, the version is changed, so the idea of "brush brush brush - team battle" is not useless, is it difficult to say that the brush is rampant for a while?

This type of individual of "wandering support, let teammates fatten up" is not particularly recommended, because one of the mistakes often made by novices is that they have delayed their own development in the process of wandering support, and the specific performance is to help their teammates a lot, take a bunch of assists, and then the number of knives rises slowly, and their equipment is out of gear for too long.

However, some assassins I personally think novices should try it, at least can establish the concept of "wandering support, around the back, cut into the timing", in the matching round many novices took the assassin on the road but the group is always in the front, there is no meaning of the back, low-end ranking such a phenomenon is also there, but a lot less. At the same time, the Assassin character does not need to be continuously output like a mage, and many times it is a meritorious achievement as long as the team battle replaces a key rear row on the opposite side. Moreover, after the Assassins have practiced and started, the ranking in the future is relatively good.

Finally, to briefly add the responsibilities of the assassin, in addition to supporting teammates during the line period, looking for opportunities to kill the opponent's single person after the line period is over, the team battle should take the opponent's back row output as the first target, such as rats, Epphilius and other shooters, Zeras, Clockwork and other mages. But don't be too rigid, if your equipment and level are far ahead of the opposing warrior (for example, the development of the opponent's dog's head is seriously lagging), then when he is in a bad position, you can also go up and kill.

The single hero recommended for novices is as follows:

Adc position routine choice is most of the shooters, some people will say that there are now mages, or Yaso down the way to play, but that is relatively only a relatively small part, not to mention the snake woman, Sindra, Yaso novices can not understand, Bomberman's fast push tower rhythm in the low-end and matching rounds will not be supported by teammates, so it is better to play the traditional shooter honestly, the outfit, the knife, the a and a variety of line details to understand, I personally think this will be more helpful for the novice to integrate into.

The main duty of the traditional shooter in the lol is to provide continuous output in the team battle, as the main force when pushing the tower and attacking the ancient resources (the great dragon and the ancient dragon), and the later killing of the opponent's equipped tank and warrior role is mainly completed by the shooter. Therefore, in the passer-by bureau, the disadvantages of the no-shooter lineup are obvious - the Great Dragon/Ancient Dragon fights too slowly; the lack of effective attack on the defense tower when advancing; the opponent's front row of meat cannot be dismantled after being formed, and may become the "God of War".

In the past, many people's requirements for newcomer ad players were probably like this: try to control the line as much as possible, maximize your own knife repair while avoiding death during the line period, do not disconnect from the team when fighting with the team, let your teammates have a distance to support you, and only output enemies within the attack distance (if multiple targets enter your attack range, it will definitely give priority to killing the more threatening characters).

Since there are no new players entering now, so few people mention it again, and even new people are required to have the ability to walk smoothly and find goals like professional players, which is a bit difficult to be strong. As for whether "the ad with displacement must be suitable for novices", this is actually debatable, because in fact, you will find that after the newcomer is in danger and then the displacement is pulled away, the probability is to turn around and continue to output and then be seconds, or to brainlessly escape in the direction of the spring, to a safe position and directly start to return to the city, there is no idea of returning to the battlefield to continue to output, even if the opposite skill is completely handed over to him.

So I think that some heroes who have no displacement but can contribute more output seem to be good, but this is not 100% true.

So here I'll just list some of the next ad heroes that are "not suitable" for novices to try, for reference only. (Note that it is "not recommended" to choose)

Finally, let's talk about the auxiliary. Although old players will roughly divide the auxiliary into two categories: "soft auxiliary" and "hard auxiliary", it may be easier to understand the new person to divide the auxiliary into 3 categories:

Soft Auxiliary - has a certain ability to harass the line period, and the skill can provide control and buff effects, representing the hero cat and the wind girl;

Hard assist - has a stronger damage absorption ability and control ability than soft assist, although the continuous harassment ability on the line is poor, but the ability to fight a wave is strong, and the buff ability of their own heroes is also relatively limited, representing the heroes Riel and Leona;

Output Assist - Can be used as an output point for a team to provide damage (Parker can't actually call it an "output point of a team"), but the ability to control and absorb damage is not as good as the hard assist, and there is no team buff ability of the traditional soft assist, representing the hero Jailla and the fire man

For novices, I personally still prefer to recommend the traditional hard and soft auxiliaries, because the output auxiliary needs higher economic support, and the economic sources of such assistance are mainly kills, assists and plating/defense towers, that is to say, the output auxiliary will be very uncomfortable if it cannot get the advantage, and it will not be able to provide too much help to teammates; at the same time, many people play the output assist, basically do not invest too many resources to the real eye, and even sometimes prefer to fill the grid with small books rather than buy the real eye Finally, there is the problem of "output auxiliary rush lines and wild monsters", which may break the mentality of teammates when they are inferior.

Choosing the traditional soft and hard auxiliary, most people are still willing to do "assisting what to do", such as opening a group, protecting, doing vision, clear vision, support, etc., and the idea of grabbing resources with teammates will basically not arise.

The specific heroes recommended for novices are as follows:

This article does not analyze the specific hero too deeply, because now the lol's "hero raiders" can be said to be quite detailed, you can find the relevant raider content in several large video site search keywords, which will basically explain the hero's mechanism, plus points, rune selection, outfit routes, lines and team battle ideas, and after watching the video, the actual battle will basically improve.
