Among the founding fathers of new China, Premier Zhou and Deng Yingchao are the most envied revolutionary partners. In 1923, Premier Zhou sent Deng Yingchao a postcard with portraits of Liebknecht and Luxemburg. On this postcard, Premier Zhou wrote: "I hope that the two of us will go to the guillotine together in the future, just like the two of them." ”

The great love and revolutionary spirit of Premier Zhou and Deng Yingchao are fully reflected in this sentence. However, for various reasons, Chinese did not know much about Liebknecht and Luxemburg, who were idolized by Young Zhou and Deng Yingchao. So what kind of people are Liebknecht and Luxemburg?
The full name is Karl Liebknecht, a famous German Marxist politician, thinker, theoretician and revolutionary, whose father, Wilhelm Liebknecht, was a member of the First International and the founder of the Second International. Liebknecht, the author of "Militarism and Anti-Militarism", was one of the most prominent Marxists in Europe at that time.
In November 1918, the November Revolution broke out in Germany, and Liebknecht was one of the main leaders and participated in the creation of the German Communist Party. After the defeat of the November Revolution, Liebknecht was wanted by the reactionary government. On January 15, 1919, Liebknecht was kidnapped by the right-wing freedom army and brutally killed after several hours of torture.
Full name Rosa Luxemburg, Polish Jewish, famous German Marxist thinker, theoretician, revolutionary, one of the founders of the German Communist Party. Rosa Luxemburg was the most prominent female Marxist revolutionary in European history, and Lenin, despite his disagreements with Luxembourg on some issues, praised Luxemburg as the "Eagle of Revolution."
On 15 January 1919, Luxembourg, along with Liebknecht, was kidnapped and killed by the Freedom Corps.
